Mitch Taylor stood outside Dr. Hathaway's office, palms sweating, trying in vain to focus on controlling his breathing.  He still had nightmares in which he was frolicking underwater with Jordan when he heard the indistinct roar of the professor's voice through the shallow waves above him.  

 

"TAAAAAAYYYYYYLLOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRR!"

 

He could hear something of that fury now through the heavy office door, although the sound was muffled.  

 

Mitch tried again to breathe calmly, but his face burned as he recalled the dressing-down he was given in front of his peers - and a giggling gaggle of student beauticians - for having the audacity to take one night off from slaving in the lab to attempt to enjoy himself.  Not that he was enjoying himself, at least until Jordan had arrived.  And after the professor's lecture, there was the public humiliation of Kent and his cronies replaying what he thought was his private telephone conversation with his parents.

 

He had wanted to leave then, rather than face the mocking and scorn of what should have been his peers. Chris had tried valiantly to help him find a new outlook, and encouraged him to take revenge on Kent.  Revenge had been sweet, but Kent was a bully at heart, and as he stood at the threshold of Dr. Hathaway's office, Mitch had a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach that Kent had found a way to retaliate after all.

 

Suddenly the door was flung open, Dr. Hathaway standing in the opening with a red face and anger flashing in his eyes.  

 

"In. Now.  Sit."  Hathaway gestured impatiently at one of the guest chairs in front of his desk.  He didn't bother to settle himself in his office chair.

 

Mitch opened his mouth to ask what the professor wanted, but he needn't have bothered.

 

His voice grim, without a trace of compassion, Dr Hathaway spoke.  "I have made a grievous error, Mitch.  I put my reputation on the line recommending you for admission to Pacific Tech.  I thought you were ready.  Obviously I was wrong."

 

"Sir," Mitch began, "if this is about Kent..."  

 

Dr. Hathaway raised a hand angrily and cut him off.  "This isn't about Kent.  This is about you, and how you are not mature enough to handle yourself at this university.  This situation is not working, Mitch, and as such, our little experiment is over."

 

"But Dr. Hathaway!"

 

"I said over, Mitch." There was finality in the professor's voice, along with a hint of disappointment.  "Your parents have already been contacted.  You may return to the dorms now to pack your belongings."   

 

 

 

Dawthe, Mitch Taylor - Vanilla Town, has been expelled from Pacific Tech.

 

 

It is now Night 2.  You have 24 hours to submit your night actions.

Let's put this to bed. Darthe started out town, but then was defnding me way too strenously to make me feel good about him... and then he did a sudden about-face which was not townie at all IMO.

Okay so now this vote makes Basel look like LOCK SCUM. He didn't have a problem with Darthe defending him all game, yet is willing to all of a sudden vote him when a CFD builds and pulls the train off of Basel. Also Basel's quick hammer prevented any sort of claim from stopping the lynch and moving to someone else.

 

The line is still drawn btw. Now that group is just smaller. If your name is Basel, Hallia, Pray, or Amega, you seriously do not have much time left to try and show town that you are town as well. So start putting in #work and prove that you care about town winning this game.

Sorry i haven't been around. kinda lost it for this game. I think basel would be a good lynch tomorrow. Even though darthe spewed him as town i never saw it and somehow he slipped out of a lynch yesterday and sealed the deal on darthe himself

I asked you about Craylee, Mish, Len and Tsuki. What do you think of them jumping on the townie train twice?

You didn't ask me a question. You stated that someone in a group of likely town might be scum. It was fake scumhunting at it's finest worst.

 

There's nothing whatsoever that indicates that 4 people, who generally all have townreads on eachother, voting along with eachother makes any of them more likely to be scum.

 

It literally is the weakest attempt I've ever seen at trying to sow wifom into a town circle. Thank you Pray, for making the rest of this game a lot easier.
