WHOSE READY FOR WHAT IM COOKING!!!

I was talking smack, and Despo knows what I was saying is the same thing I've already said to him.

 

He hid behind real life excuses and then acted like king of the world because he was a part of a winning team in what was quite possibly the worst played and worst balanced game I've ever seen... not to mention his victory lap pretty much stole the thunder of the non-town players that actually did play well, unlike Despo that was so blatantly scum it was ridiculous.

 

When the town cannibalizes itself to that extent, and players like Ace and I pretty much stop trying and just mess with the dumb townies we're stuck with, there's really no glory in winning... especially when you were one of the weakest links of the winning team, which Despo was.

 

I said it then and I'll say in now, I expected better from him. I can recall some games I've played with him here, and had a higher opinion of him before that stupid champs tourney. I think, I know, he let it get to his head.

 

The whole premise of that game being a "best of the best" thing was a joke.

 

Wombat and Darthe urged me to go just to go make people cry. LOL

That's just outright discouraging people from playing on your forum.

 

 

You know what is more discouraging? Coming here, signing up for a game, then having 1/3 of it asked to be replaced as soon as they see they are vanilla, then having the rest of the players in the game play specifically not to die.

 

The way we "haze" people, if you insist on calling it that, is for the good of the game play. There's nothing wrong with weeding people out and helping them understand which site they are a better fit to play on... DM should thank us, because in us keeping our community on-brand for what we want mafia games to be like - we also have helped DM establish its own brand for what games should be like..... no logic and 30 hours of dead air between votes. LOL

Besides, you're talking about my reaction? People quit mafia games all the time. I've never seen someone get their knicker in a twist over it so badly. Oh I'm the over-sensitive one and you guys are the picture of pure composure.

Lol..the tomfoolery didn't chase me away.  I just realized that most of my mafia playing passion is gone vs other interests I have, namely weigh lifting and coaching my nephew's t-ball team.  That is taking my free time now.  Mafia is a time intensive game if done properly...and I stopped doing it properly.
