I knew we weren't going to get roles upon death, but I thought we'd get alignments. I'm bummed.

It says right in the rules there would be no flips upon death and to not post any game info in a bah post.

Technically it says "Roles will not be revealed upon death" — but it does also say "obviously with no flips it would [...]" so I'm not sure. If we don't get alignment flips this game is gonna be crazy hard.

There are enough info gaining roles if used correctly we should be fine.

Sorry I wasn't more active, this week has been getting ready to fly out for JCon   I'm doing my best, and will have tonight and tomorrow night to play now that I'm pretty much all packed up!

and what has it really said Pral? hmmm?? most of it has been either about double voter, lens humor, or my supposed linking. Thats it. thats not an informed decision.

Lol. D1/N1 actions are always sort of shots in the blind. And so are D1 lynches. Personally I'd rather trust in the action of a role that we know will be town, than a lynch.

And all the talk about the double voter is VERY interesting gameplay, and those of you who try to paint it as unimportant... Big, huge, FoS.

I really don't understand this post. The first reads like you know that Lenlo was a townie when he could of been a witch.

Lol wut? It doesn't have anything to do with Lenlo at all.

I'm completely lost at your post then

It was a comment to Dice's attitude in his and Pral's discussion re: the Verbal-role.

Oh lol. Long day. Sorry I missed that.

I agree that things are blind D1 Mish, however a lynch is a better option imo because you have multiple people and thus multiple opinions coming to at least some form of agreement, rather then  one single person making the decision. Then theres the fact that people not voting may get mod punished.

Not to mention, if we mislynch twice in a row, fake me can hipfire for epic lulz.

That'll be one way to know that we mislynched twice in a row. So we can at least gauge what direction were going and try and work from there.

Of course, lynch is a better option. But, we were talking about Consolidation vs Verbal kill. If someone thinks a person is scum, he would vote him, no problem with that.

But, I have issues with voting a town-read under the pretext of consolidation when technically there is no penalty attached. At worst, he would lynch a town which, according to your reads, you were doing anyway.

All three witches were gathered around the small cauldron, and were looking at eachother with a strange sort of excitement. Finally one nodded to the others, and then dipped a ladle into the pot and poured out some of the mixture into a clay bowl sitting nearby. Returning the ladle, she picked up the bowl and raised it to her lips. A grin broke out on her face, and the other two witches started to cackle softly. She finally closed her eyes and then started tipping the bowl back. She started to imagine the face of the one she would focus on first, and as the visual popped into her head, she felt a sudden rush of adrenaline. The soup tasted magnificent, she could feel every fiber, every morsel resonating with her entire body, and waves of energy reverberated back and forth as she rocked back and forth in the trance. She finally opened her mouth and said one word.

Getting good vibes from her after that post where she clears Wombat as town. Whether or not he is town is irrelevant but the intention is there. Also, she is usually a lot aggressive and nudgy on Day 1 as scum which I am not seeing here. Mostly defensive and taking it easy.

Have you ever played with Lily?  Lily and "aggressive on D1" do not match regardless of her alignment.  This is weird - are you trying to implant meta on her?

Yes, I have been in two games where she was mafia.

1. Friends Mafia -Long back when I was new.  She went on the offensive in D1 against me and I was the victim who was lynched. I quite remember that

2. Once Upon a Mafia - I was scummate with her. I never saw her go defensive in the early parts of the game. I was the one playing safe (though it didn't work out) while she was going head on.

This game, she seems to focus on defending herself rather than going on the offensive. Again, this is a pure meta based opinion based on the games I have played with her.

Your definition of 'going on the offensive' is obviously very different from mine.  I still feel like you are trying to use your opinion of her meta (which I don't think others share) against her.

I just had to look up soup kill again.

Soup: At night, instead of making the group Night Kill, a witch may instead choose to drink Soup. Doing so allows them to Match a player to an Innocent role one at a time until they are incorrect or choose to stop. Each correctly Matched player dies.

The witches can choose to stop when they want to as far as I understand, and they only felt confident in one person, then that's that.

Makes me pretty sure Lenlo was town though, if the witches are willing to risk being exposed already. If they'd lost one member already, I highly doubt they would.

Well, I don't think Angel Protects work on soupkill. It is not mentioned in the opening post.

Des, can you clarify if Angels can protect a soupkill?

Also, other reason could be to prevent a Misheru save on the kill.

Regarding what the real Mish said, even I fail to see where Lily hinted any role.

The three witches finally stopped cackling to one another. Theirs laughs echoed in the night, and then the silence became deafening as the Souper contemplated offering another name. Finally she went for the ladle again, drawing two soft inhales of breath from the other witches. The smiles remained on their faces however, and they nodded their heads as the Souper looked back and forth at them. She drew forth another serving of the frothy mix and served it into her bowl, returning the ladle once again. She raised the bowl yet again and started to drink, and as she did started to visualize her next target. Her heartbeat started to rise again, and she felt the power of the Soup coursing through her again. She opened her lips and uttered another name, and suddenly the taste turned sour in her, which she felt throughout her body. She quickly spat out the soup still in her mouth, and coughed and hacked for a bit, but looking up she knew the damage was done. The witches quickly cleaned up and donned their masks and garments and went to join the others.

Dawnflower the Witch attempted to Soupkill Pralaya the Turin, but failed!

Nice! I buddied Lily just for this. Because this role is the first one that the witches can deduce easily. Or attempt to :)

How would I know Lily would actually be Ithillan :facepalm
