I would like to hard claim mafia and see what all of you do.

This claim may or may not be accurate and has no more weight than a claim of town, but let us postulate on what affect it has to make a legitimate null claim with a negative stigma associated with it rather than a positive.

Shall we?

First off im going to call you a number of expletives in my head that I am not allowed to post on this board. Then im going to ask why in the world your doing this as while I can see it will jumpstart the game, it probably wont jumpstart it in the best of ways.

Finally im going to decide not to vote you as you have enough trouble not being lynched as is, with making this claim I feel you would be putting yourself into an incredibly disadvantageous position that would impact your chances of winning as mafia to much. If you do turn out to be mafia well then I will bow before you. Im not sure I would be able to talk my way out what you just put yourself into and I love talking my way out of crazy situations.

i agree with len tho I could see darthe doing this and counting on noone to believe him. May also be a way to fulfill a jester role perhaps? I may be thinking the wrong role.

theree is a part of me tempted to lynch him just so this doesn't get pulled again in future

Me too, but starting D1 with a policy lynch is rarely in towns best interest, and more often than not leave us at D2 with the balance skewed in mafias favour and no info to go on. In a advanced experimental-game this strikes me as a bad idea.

I'm not sure it will be possible, but imo the best idea would be to ignore it for now. Kick-starting the game with wifom is annoying at best.

You don't policy lynch people for claiming town D1.  Annoying though it may be this is a good chance to explore how irrelevant such a claim is.

Also, this game is ****ing dead.  It's frankly depressing.

Well, last game I played we actually did.

Still thinking suddenly starting a social experiment is a disservice to both town and the game. I like your point though, by all means.

It def is. There are better ways to go about said social experiment.

Not sure I do. You seem to be referencing the Once game.

There was no policy lynch there and no "town claim". The rest holds I guess?

I didn't think about that.  It seemed really weird to do, but it is advanced.   O.o is there some type of role that wants to be lynched (besides jester?)

Looks like were going backwards sequentially. Next ring will probably by 6.

Im kinda annoyed no one who was caught in 9 has come forward yet though. Seriously where are people. Know its the weekend but still.

@Darthe: claiming scum (or town) is nor null in an advanced game and you know that. So what's your game?

This is technically accurate.  I suppose that I would be more honest if I said that it is not directional, or that while it is not null it isn't something that can be consistently marked as either a scum or town tell and thus we can only assume that it is Either a scum or town tell.
