Welcome everyone! Which are your favorite comedy movies?  I am sure there are a lot of them around. I suppose mostly it depends on your kind of humor.

 

Personally I like Some Like it Hot, Meet the Parents, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Monty Python and The Life Of Brian, Groundhog Day..and many more, but these are the ones that stick out for me at the moment.

My favourite is Hot Fuzz - there is barely a line in that that doesn't make me giggle, and I have seen it many many too many times! I was actually crying with laughter the first time I saw it.

 

I also think A Knights Tale is really funny in places, although its not strictly a comedy

I would say that's my favourite bit, but Its so hard to choose and I don't think I can  have the whole thing as my favourite bit!

Airplane has always been my favorite comedy. I also like The Naked Gun and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

That covers a lot but so good.

For a long time my favorite movie was Little Nicky

Serenity is one of my favorites. Comedy mixed with action ^_^

I love Mel Brooks movies: Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, Robin Hood men in tights...all good. Princess Bride is a great one. Knight's Tale, I love the comedy that can be found in Fifth Element with all the outlandish characters, Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Groundhog Day...I have tons of comedy movies and could keep going.

Arsenic and Old Lace, Smokey and the Bandit, Dogma, Clerks, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Animal House, Young Frankenstein. Those are just a few.

Hmmmm ... most movies with the Cusacks in, especially Grosse Point Blank.

 

I must admit I've never found the Monty Python movies at all funny. Or any type of spoof movie.
