Eh not much you couldve done by the time you subbed in Amega hehe. Don't take it personal or anything. Mafia piled on you pretty much, and inactivity kept any other train from developing. Had Xthrax come forward with his view, the day definitely would have gone a lot differently however. I think he was busy irl the past couple of days tho. Oh well.

GG everyone, and this day would have turned out differently had X revealed.

Amega, I think you asked why I have a town read on Leelou... I don't remember your other question, so I'll check that out and get back to you later. Leelou isn't very good at being mafia; her posts come across a bit forced. She's been posting steadily pro-town this game, and thus I have a town feel on her.

I actually win more as scum than lose, so I wouldn't say I'm not very good at being mafia. I was going to stick out this game on purpose and let Verbal buss me, but somewhere along the way I decided I wanted to post pro-town.

I was actually thinking when I went to bed that I hoped Leelou was mafia... That way at least one player in the game would deserve the win, because she's easyli been the best player. Did manage to pin Verb and AVM though, but got too distracted by others.

I'm honestly disgusted with the town play going on D2 and D3. I don't have much more to say than that. I'm pretty pissed off.

Bah, I had 2 of them on my sights.... verbal and AJ/AVM  .... no wonder I was nightkilled !

I even dropped my scumtell on this - I often times NK to silence a player who might be onto me.  Nobody thought anything of your death, though.  ;-)

Hmph.  I think I deserved the win as well - Leelou and I were the 2 most active players, and both scum playing right in front of everybody.  I get that you're annoyed with the town, though - I would be, too.

Hehe yeah I grinned when I saw that. Prob your most obvious tell, unfortunately its still not that reliable since scum can too easily kill someone against you as a frame job.

And fwiw, I thought you played well as well hehe. And thanks for the compliments, I might have enjoyed writing scenes for this game even moar than my first

hehe, thanks

Yeah, I'm glad it is my most obvious tell, because I can defend it easily with the frame-job defense.  It would amount to a null tell usually, unless the FOS on me was super subtle and my NK on them wasn't obvious at first.  Those are the ones that'll bite me in the @$$, but I really thought Pral was Cop and breadcrumbing a guilty on me....so I didn't want to give him a chance.  I figured if he was and I got lynched for it, it would protect the rest of my team.  Leelou was solid town for most people, and AVM is a sneaky SOB, so I wasn't worried about myself getting lynched.

Heh. I tried to be a wee bit more active to be a bit different. Leelou had my assessment correct in the dead thread. Maybe that threw you off.

AJ had pinged hard and I was slowly realising that verbal was scum too. By the time I could do anything, Dora was lynched. It is tough when the site is most active when I am sleeping.

I would like to apologise to you all and especially Despot - who I love so much .... in mafia  . I thought  1-2 days for my b-day would be enough but little I new that my friends treated me to a spa experience remotely in the mountains and there was not a stable wi fi. I am really sorry.

Anyway, hugs to all and thanks Despo for organising it

Thanks for playing everyone! I hope yall had fun, I know I did writing the scenes for yalls enjoyment

Xthrax DID view a mafioso last night, he viewed Leelou, but I guess he was waiting to reveal the result later... I'm not sure. Anyhoo, yeah inactivity def hurt town a lot, especially towards the end. But I think the mafia team did also do a great job of staying off the radar, so kudos to them.

Oh and yeah sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but the hug vote mechanic was pretty much a red herring, didn't do anything. Just felt it would help make everyone go along with the theme more lol.

Speaking of the theme, there was a purpose behind it actually. Obviously I have heard a lot of people talk about how annoying aggressive playstyles can be, and I've seen a lot of people debate whether or not it's even an effective strategy. I wanted to see what would happen if there was a theme that made it somewhat difficult to be ultra-aggressive in, a theme which would get everyone to be all fluffy and cuddly with eachother, and sure enough, the mafia took advantage. I loved participating in all of the fluff, I really did, but as a player I prob would have been a bit more frustrated hehe. It def kept the game from getting into gear as quickly, and town in general wasn't nearly as committed to actual scumhunting.

Is it bad that I had mebbe some ulterior motives here? Perhaps. I still think it was a fair game however, and I think the setups were all pretty balanced. It was slightly experimental concerning the theme, but I still thought town had a chance, even on the last day, since the Cop got a guilty. I think random.org helped a bit since two somewhat inexperienced players got the town PR's, and the mafia team was all pretty experienced.

Anyways, it was still a lot of fun for me to supervise a theme like this, and altho activity waned a bit at the end, I had a lot of fun watching yall play!

Yeah I think the bolded was obvious to everyone. I was also interested in seeing how the game would play out if everyone started acting all huggly and nice to each other, and even though the scenes were hilarious I have to say that I prefer playing in an aggressive way a lot more. It's just a lot more effective and most games on DM start at page 1 while we had to force start this one on page 7 with a train on X. Having said all this I think the mafia team played an excellent game and they definitely deserved their victory. Leelou was their MVP imo.

GG Town. I'm sorry that I didn't reveal Leelou yesterday. My school farewell had come up and I was out longer than I expected, so the deadline came before I was back.

GG everyone.

I hate that I had to replace out, but things are starting to settle down a bit for me. Glad to see that scum won this game since I was on their team and all

I def think you're getting a lot better at staying motivated even if you roll vanilla hehe. Gj mate.

Honestly there prob wasn't too too much you could have done to prevent the lynch, town started showing their WIL (Want It Less- lack of motivation) pretty much that same day hehe. So I wouldn't take it personal or anything, I thought your D1 play was very good. And thank you for the compliments and hugs

Despo I LOVE THAT SCENE!  Thank you!

Was one of my favorite scenes to write honestly. Got such strong imagery in my head of you dancing around with the feather like a rapier roflmao. Glad you like it

Yeah, could be a learning experience. I can't fault you for being busy, but if you have an important investigation result and you might not be back before deadline, you should prob reveal sooner rather than later... or never lol.

GG everyone.

Glad to hear things are going better for you again bro.
