I'm ignoring the whole friggin role pm crap just like I'd disregard character claims in a themed game. AJ seems the scummiest to me. Has misrepped multiple times, has called me out for not scumhunting enough while he has only tunneled on me all game. Pulled a 180 on Mish, and has pretty much ignored all other gameplay besides mine

i had to google the guns n roses to work out what yates was getting at though.

 

Look at your role pms. They are a sentence for each thing. The only different phrase was who wins how and thats included in the rules.

 

The reason it was only against the rules to screen cap and not quote is they were identical.

AJ is tunneling.  But he has made some legit point along with pretty bogus ones.  He's put himself out there though..so if he is scum it is gonna show up in later days.  You may be OMGUS'ing a bit and that is understandable.

Basel, your theory is complete BS.  You think I'm derailing an AJ train when I've been his toughest critic.

 

You removed your vote from him with less than a day before DL, when he was one of the two leading trains at the time. If you're his toughest critic, then unvoting him looks pretty dodgy.

Why's that, Ishy? I had at that point 2 of the necessary 8 votes for a lynch on me, as had both Yates and Mish. The deadline was still three days away (of which I was absent the weekend of the first two).

I think elf is elffern, going by the posts on the signup thread. No one I can recall hearing of before.

I like to get to know people, so I can estimate a bit how they play. I hope (s)he will get (has gotten ?) more active.

 

 

 

 It wasn't twenty pages, Thorum. And you'll need to grow a bit bigger skin if you wanna be modding. You don't even wanna know some of the things I've gotten told when I've been modding. I don't hold personal grudges for it.

 

Aggressive for the purpose of being aggressive, easily could have laughed the vote off. And I don't like out of game tension bleeding into games. Also, he would need to grow thicker skin just FYI. Larger skin would only increase the surface area with which he can be sensitive.

 

 

I'm voting AJ because he on purpose links himself very strongly to Hallia. Wich I see way more mafia motivations for than town motivations.

 

And yes, AJ = Andrej.

 

 

His "very strong" linking is saying "this post gives me a town vibe?" That's weak. My opinion is that you were laying low and got aggro when your first couple comments drew people's attention.

EDIT: after reading last 2 pages. Well.This is a game. It is supposed to be fun. Not a lesson in "growing a thicker skin" or a way of testing how to break stuff people put a lot of effort in making (or a way of getting inscribed in as many as possible without really playing any of them). You'd think we'd manage to make that fun with so many players who know what they're doing. At least, we used to be able to. I don't know if I'll come back, however much I was looking forward to this original setup (for me). I've grown too old for Fiddlesticks, the debates-board has become a fight between republicans and democrats, and playing mafia this way is no fun at all.

What the hell. So, I am out for the weekend with a limited connection and the thread explodes from 6 pages to 25 pages ! And, most of that some blatering about role text and setups. I just skimmed over it and the first 10 pages and last 10 pages are just nonsense and a headache to read. Not sure if I am going to seriously read it.

 

The middle 5 pages when Mish voted AJ was where the real game was. 

 

Anyway, the game is in limbo now. Let's see what happens.

To be 100% honest, if this was my game, I'd shut it down on the spot and say "game over".  But it's not.  I don't think restarting is the right way - too much damage already done.  My recommendation is to modkill what you need to "balance" it out, and then officially post the wording of the Mod PM (from a Mod) and continue the game.

I just want to say that regardless of the outcome that I genuinely feel guilty for being a party to this.
