I love that you guys are jumping right into the game, but for now I'm going to sit back and wait for everyone to actually show up. Right now you all seem to be grasping at straws. 

 

I hate it when people say this on D1.  It's apathetic and anti-town.  If you stack enough straws, you can break a scum camel's back.  If you don't play D1, then D2 becomes D1.5

Eww.  Don't like this nudge at all.  Trying to cast an FoS while distancing from it.  First of all, drunk posts are great for catching scum because of lowered inhibitions.  Secondly, posting a "not FoS" de facto FoS is gross.

My apologies for being scarce this weekend. I've got a lot going on in preparation for a trip I'm taking with the family on Tuesday. I'll likely be playing a lot of catch up through Christmas but seeing as how I had to read like 3 posts since yesterday I think I'll manage

 

In regards to Mish I see the point she was making. It would be like calling Peace scum because he didn't start this game with "yo". If anything I think Des looks a bit worse for reaching like that.

I'm pretty flummoxed as to why this game isn't more active than it is, with so many other games wrapping up recently. Peeps should be excited to have the opportunity to keep playing mafia like this.

Personally I don't feel interested in the usual day one banter/joke stuff at the moment.. usually I am,  but not this time....

 

So I probably won't pick up activity until the "real" game starts, I guess aha

The game started late on a weekend, Activity will probably pick up when people get to work. Also, I am not seeing normal Day 1 banter, but people jumping right into the game over the smallest things before everyone shows up and we get reactions from everyone.

On reflection, Mish's reaction to Des' vote was odd, given that it was obviously a joke, and other joke-votes have passed without comment from her.

 

 

But I believe that it is far, FAR scummier for Leelou to NOT be grasping at straws, so I will keep my vote on her.

Yes, I did need to say that. I'm usually a very active player. I'm not able to work so I'm home all the time and I'm online almost all the time. So for me it's important to let everyone know in advance that for those days, my activity will be limited.

Nikon's case on Mish is intriguing. I like that he does already seem to be going forth with the scumhunt even tho he's relatively new. Townish read on him.

 

Leelou and Verb look like they could be forcing meta a bit with their follow-one-another routine. Could be scum together or Leelou buddying Verb. Leelou seemed to set it up more so I doubt it would be Verbal buddying her.

 

Hoof's vote on Leelou is pretty bad- he votes her for "not grasping at straws", but he himself said he usually doesn't get active until the game actually "starts", which implies that he's not one of the people who tries to actually get it started. Leaning scum on Hoof.

 

Ishy's vote on Hoof did seem slightly policy motivated, but I like it for now. He fooled me late game tho meh.

Constant apathy? Bull. This one time I said that I didn't want to engage much in joking and joke-voting (although I did a bit with Leelou) means that I disdain real scumhunting on day 1? 

I guess you are referring to the comment I made in the other game, which was a reference to how people are often lynched on Day 1 with no real reasoning behind it. It is better than nothing, since we admittedly have little to go on, but it isn't real scumhunting. 

 

And as peace said, you are not scumhunting either, but policy-voting me (which would be fine i guess, if you had a legit reason for it) making you quite hypocritical.
