I don't have much of a reason. I would rather lynch her over AJ or Luci.

I had a townish read on Key before she unvoted from Kay and starting backtracking from her read on her after AJ and Ishy started defending her play because of her meta. It just seemed way too opportunistic, and now she is voting for Luci who I have town read on just because she left a couple of people of her list of town and scum reads.

Why do you want the survivor to reveal?

 

I didn't unvote her because of AJ and Ishy. I unvoted her because when I read back through I didn't see her as scummy anymore. How is unvoting her opportunistic? If anything, it is going to draw me an incredible amount of flack.

 

What makes you think Luci is town? My vote is NOT just because she left a few people off her list.

Yeah. What are the chances that a player who's motivation is not pro-town is going to claim? I doubt he was serious here.

Weak. Cloud just wants to blindly lynch so he can play with the people he likes. Weak gameplay and attempting to nudge a train without a real reason. Cloud's game has been iffy to scum adjacent all game. I will believe the defense of Kaylee's meta because I have a town read on Ishy and I don't really see any strategic advantage to sticking his neck out for someone if he thought there was a good chance she'd be lynched (which there was at the time).

I found your unvote opportunistic because you appear to be going with the flow with your votes. You hopped on Kay's train when it was gaining heat, and when it started to derail you jumped right off and voted for the next person that was in the spotlight, namely Luci. As for why I have a town read on her, it's mostly a gut feeling, but I do read her play as very genuine if that makes sense to you.

"A Survivor is a lone player whose goal is to live until any other faction achieves their win condition, be it Town or Scum. If the Survivor dies, it loses."

 

I think it's a good idea for the Survivor to claim because it will be like having a confirmed townie around because he will need to help us out by actually scumhunting, and we can keep a check on him so that if the mafia starts winning this game we can just lynch the Survivor instead of going to search for him then. So if we do a good job with scumhunting then the Survivor gets to win with us, and if not then we will just lynch him. The mafia won't kill him because there will always be a chance that he might help them achieve victory. It's a win-win situation.

I'm not a fan of blindly lynching people at all, but the deadline is a little more than 6 hours away and I don't see a Kay lynch happening anytime soon. Aida, AJ and Luci had the highest vote counts, and because I have a town read on Luci and I'm not really sure about AJ I will just go for Aida instead. I'm sorry to say it but Aida hasn't really been playing the game, and I don't consider her lynch to be a loss compared to that of Luci and AJ who are actually trying their best to participate.

Cloud then added what amounted a THIRD vote and i questioned it but his response seemed reasonable enough.  I was watching the cloud/kaylee show and commented on something that struck me in it. Now because i was watching I saw kaylee admit to being more aggressive then normal. I think you were twisting her statement AJ.

@ GE - I was actually very serious about the Survivor claiming. Less so because of the stuff Cloud has said about the scum hunting and what not, but more so the Town PRs don't waste nights investigating/protecting them. It also narrows down our pool for scum later in the game once we have some other claims on the table. Pretty obvious thing to see in my mind. Town will still win if the Survivor remains, so in essence they aren't 'anti-Town'. They're not a threat we have to eliminate to win. Get it?

 

I really don't understand this vote by Dice. Looks like he's just pulling a reason out of his arse in order to park his vote somewhere with the DL looming. No bueno.

Thought's so far...

 

Key, besides those two posts after she was called out by Darthe and Ishy, seems to have disappeared, plus the post now about baby duty :D

 

Kaylee, seems town so far. 

 

Cloud, not so sure, he seems to be playing town and getting rather aggressive.

 

Snow was a bit off to me, AJ now seems to have gone into scum hunting mode, almost building cases but not really...

 

Des and Peace, not really clear on you two. Holding judgement for the moment, You're kind of iffy

 

Aidanna, seems to have fallen off the grid. Lying low?

Big ping from Luci. Firstly for voting Aid for no apparent reason, then for leaving Darthe and I off of her reads list.

 

 

My reason for Aidanna was that she is laying low. I haven't heard anything from her almost since she was called out on her phone blunder.

As for Ishy I have not played with you before so I am withholding judgement.

Bold: my reason for leaving Darthe out is that I had the same thought when I got the role PM. I have not read the books. Never heard of them until this game. So I actually had to go and read my PM twice to make sure what my role was.

Key: these are quotes you might have missed on your re-read. I explained why I didn't include Ishy, I do not know how he plays. As for Darthe I explained that as well, read the posts above. In my opinion Darthe is town, from what he posted when he checked in the game, I had the same thought when I got my role PM.

If your vote is not just because I left a few people off my list then do explain it to me as I have no idea where you are going with this. Look at my posts properly, don't just pick and choose for whichever makes me look bad.

In fact, Ishy pointing it out in thread is the best place for him to do so.  If he had pointed out an issue in the scum QT...it would have looked obvious when she rushed to "correct" her mistake.

 

Yeah...liking my theory before.  I don't normally do this...but:

@Key as for me telling dice not to "fluff about" it's a British saying= meaning stop messing around and get in the game.

@ Cloud - I hardly think voting for two people (on D1 no less) is going with the flow with my votes.  Also, Luci was not in the spotlight at the point that I posted.  Des, AJ, me and dice were all discussed in between her posts and mine.  Your defense of her is noted.

 

Cloud/AJ - The Survivor claiming now/ever unless necessary is a silly idea.  While the survivor isn't anti-town, they aren't town either so they are likely to be a lynch target because it's better than losing a townie.  The Survivor wants to stay alive, so s/he is going to be scumhunting anyway.  Also, claiming when not necessary is not really in the spirit of the game. 

 

Blind lynching, whilst sucks, is often the case on D1.  All of the trains are small ( 3 or fewer) so the point of next highest votes is fairly nil.  Voting an inactive D1 is lazy.  It won't tell us anything and if she's not been here, probability says she's VT because otherwise her scummates would be prodding her to post.

@ Luci - I saw those posts; patronizing is not helpful.  Yes, I see that you explained, but the fact of the matter is that you missed them in your first post and your later explanation could just as easily scum realizing that she made a mistake as it is a forgetful townie.  And when people questioned why some were missing (or maybe had a prod from scummates) you jumped to a response to make yourself look better.

 

FYI, you might be.  But scum can claim that too.

 

I explained in my post how it's not just about leaving people off - now are you the one not reading?  Here, I'll requote it for you:

 


In addition to leaving darthe and ishy off her reads list, Hallu, golden and dice aren't listed either.  Which is meh because she doesn't say thoughts on everyone, just says thoughts.  But, even though dice is missing from her thoughts list, in the very next post she tells dice to "stop posting fluff and get into the game". dice only has 6 posts, not much fluff or game play.  And 5 of them are about gameplay, so why say to stop posting fluff? Additionally, she calls me out for having disappeared, but not dice whose last game post was many posts before my last one.  And the only post of his between mine and hers was one to say hi to AJ. 

 

Calls AJ out for "almost building cases but not really".  I'm not sure I follow on that.

 

The vote on Aidanna seems oddly timed to me in addition to I don't like the reasoning.  Yes, it's annoying when people disappear, but in my experience that's generally a VT.  Usually scum work harder to be more active so they don't draw attention, imo.  Plus, we aren't going to learn anything from lynching an inactive.  The timing it seems like she just didn't want to get embroiled in the Kay/Cloud/Key situation, so she parked her vote elsewhere.


 

 

In regards to "looking at your posts properly" - I don't have to quote every single one of your posts when I make a case.  The ones I choose are the ones I choose to use.  They are for my argument and if you have others that you think go against my case, then it's your responsibilty (as you did) to go back and grab those. 

 

 

As far as the post about dice "fluffing up" - I figured it was a saying to stop messing around, I wasn't confused by that, but every post of his (except 1) had game play related to them, so why tell him to stop messing around?
