I already stated my suspicion of Mish. She has done some buddying on D1 and then her contradiction when agreeing with Peace that scum normally wouldn't be aggressive D1 after stating it was reason enough to keep her eye on me. Also pointed out earlier how her statement on Cloud's tells gives her room to change her stance on him later.

I was talking with Peace in general terms. But I'm always wary of what I feel is change in metas. Some people get more aggresive as mafia, others get more passive. I'm not used to seeing you this aggresive that early in a game, and so it caught my attention.

I also decided to try the same tactis on Cloud that I often try on Des... Some buddying to see if he called me out on it. I think he would have as mafia, as town I think he'll be more likely to just keep an eye on me to see if it went over the line so it becomes a scumtell from me. Of course I don't think it works on Des anymore, since I've explained that I do it  But it gave me a good feeling about Cloud that he mostly ignored it.

Right. You spend most of Day 1 and even Day 2 defending and buddying with Cloud and using that as an excuse to go against Verbal. And, you are trying to say that you were "testing him". Heh.

And a love has blossomed.  Funny how often passion arises from anger.

I was starting to get a bad feeling from Mish and so I decided to ISO her and see what comes up. One of the things that I noticed was that she has been following other people around a lot (especially on her scum reads), and appears uncertain about her town reads. She isn't giving nearly as much original thoughts as I usually expect from her, and instead it looks like she is almost trying to disappear in the crowd.

Mish says that AJ is being too aggresive and loud compared to how he usually plays, but she isn't sure what it makes her think about his allignment so she will keep an eye on him. She has slight town reads on me, Des and Tina. She isn't sure what to feel about Verbal either and only mentions that he is more vocal than she expected him to be, and that he is mostly just spamming. She says a similair thing about Leelou's play.

Mish is starting to defend me from Verbal and is explaining my meta from her point of view.

Mish is taking a shot at AJ for his vote on Rags saying that he only picked a cenvenient target.

She has been following the crowd a lot in this game and it is something that I'm not used to seeing from her at all. The Mish I know who plays Mafia always comes up with original thoughts and great cases, and her now trying to hide away in the masses in this game is pinging a lot.

She agrees with someone else on Verbal. She says that he keeps switching his reason for why he thinks I'm scummy, and he doesn't speak about much else than that. She then votes for him.

The issue I again have with this post is that she is again following someone else (in this case me after I first called Verbal out on that he kept changing his story regarding his vote on me).

She comes up with a clear case where she points out how Verbal's story regarding him voting for me kept changing.

Is taking another shot at AJ for the same thing she has already explained before.

Agrees with Peace that early aggressiveness isn't an attribute that scum have very often. She is again defending me in a roundabout way.

She claims that she feels better about Verbal since nightfall but doesn't bother to explain what made her change her mind on him.

Says that she feels manipulated by Verbal and that she doesn't like it. Isn't this the nature of the game itself? I find bit of a strange thing to say. She says Des is town.

Hammers Verbal. I happen to agree with her reasoning for doing so. Everyone's stance on Verbal was already clear and we wouldn't have achieved much in delaying his lynch even more.

She defends her action against Csarmi.

She again starts defending herself by asking Pral if we would have been able to move on to discuss other things.

Her suddenly backing away from Pral looks slightly off to me.

AJ actually made a good point about her contradicting herself when it comes down to early aggressiveness being scummy or not. At first glance it looks like she defended herself well after explaining that she found the difference in AJ's meta noticeable, and not the early aggressiveness per se. The problem is that Mish doesn't like to put as much faith in people's meta as she has been doing this game, and actually prefers to read people by looking at their current play. She then explains that her buddying on me was just a tactic to see if I would call her out on it or not. She thinks I'm town because I have been mostly ignoring it until now.

This post was in reply to Csarmi where he said that me and Des could be scum, and that he warned me of it. She says that it's a possiblity, but didn't she have a town read on me and Des since the start of the game? She appears to be unsure about her town reads, almost as if she is trying to play both sides of the game.

Pral makes a very good point in his last point, and her jokingly response appears lackluster in comparison. I mean she doesn't even try to defend herself. I was expecting more from her.

I didn't have enough time today to do a reread from the start to read up on all the interactions people had with Verbal again, but tomorrow is the weekend and then I will have more then enough time for it :D

Well it IS a possibility that you both are mafia and I just can't read you at all; isn't it? I don't think that is the case; but it's always a possibility.

I'm struggling this game because, as I've said before, I haven't been able to get into it properly, and I've ended up following others I feel a bit good about more than I usually do. I usually don't have a problem with playing in two games at once, but right now it's been difficult. The lack of a lynch D1 didn't help. I have hopes it'll get better now that my other game is getting where I will have more focus and energy to get a grip on this one too.

Sorry guys.  Been out with family stuff all day.  Got family tomorrow, fly back and y'all own me Sunday.  I really do apologize that my first game here has been so quiet.

That said...Cloud.  Needs to go.  Seriously.

Krak walked briskly in the cold night air, his trench coat wrapped tight, and his fedora firmly on his head.  Walking helped him think.  And he needed to think.  But it was cold.  The events of the past two days had not been good.  Prideaux dead before anyone knew he was still alive, and then Smiley right after him.  Two members of Control's old gang.  That was ominous.  Perhaps someone was tying up loose ends.  But then why would Prideaux have even made it off the Continent?  Krak was pondering this oddity while turning a corner just when the answer popped into his head and his sight.

"Haydon."

"Why hello, Krak old chum.  Bit cold for a walk isn't it?"

"It's you isn't it?  That mole that doesn't exist?"

"Very clever, Krak.  I'm going to have to kill you now.  Of course, I was coming to do that in any event."

*Several suppressed gunshots sound and Krak crumples to the ground*

Krak, Tracer Bullet (because I can), Vanilla Town, has been killed.

"God in Heaven.  Who's that?  Are you hit?"

"No, I'm quite alright.  Caught him by surprise.  Got a light?"

"Yeah sure, right here."

"AHHHH!! What are you--"

"Goodbye, Haydon."

Cloud, Bill Haydon, Mafia Godfather, has been killed.

It is now Day 3.  With 11 left, it takes 6 to lynch.
