Welcoming Poetstorm back to the Band

[BFG]

Sets up a tent in the middle of everything, that somehow links every exit from every place in the Band to this tent here (think giftshop in Doctor Who, but in reverse), in order to welcome Poetstorm back to the Band!

 

There's a large table filled with flaming shots, guinny & bandy (she can make an effort when she has to), banners and streamers add color to the currently pristine tent and there's a smell of tantalizing food coming from some covered containers.  There are even mock bows with suction cup arrows, and rubber daggers for the guests to play with (uh, borrowed, from the Archers lockers) in order to honor the return of the Archer Poetstorm.

Feel free to kick back and enjoy yourself, and since I'm new since you were last around feel free to tell us anything and everything about yourself

It's been a while since I was here but I'm looking forward to meeting all the new folks and some of the old. I'm Poet or Laura whichever you prefer. I'm 36 and married for 12 years. By day I work in an accounting department doing billing, bookkeeping, and collections, but by night I run a paranormal research group and explore abandoned places to document their history. It's a side hobby and passion - and me and the hubby just published a book! :)

 

Aside form that I LOVE travel and music. In fact we're going on our first cruise next month! I'm a writer and amateur photographer, and I love to read just about everything but romance. My favorite WoT characters would be Nynaeve, Lan, Thom, and Birgitte. Anything else you want to know just ask.

Hiya. :) You can do it! Though non-fiction is easier to get into than fiction. I still hope someday to write a novel though. I haven't RPed here but I am in the WT RP group.

I hunt on battlegrounds (LOTS of Civil War battles around these parts)....actually, this state seems to be a hotbed of paranormal activity.

Especially recently, things have been really active. I'm almost 100% sure that it has nothing to do with Halloween too. We also look for 

monsters and other boogie men in the forests and skies. (That would be my fiancee's idea. I stick to digging up history and occasionally

being ghost bait.)

That sounds awesome. It's a shame they won't let people on the Gettysburg battlefields after dark anymore. I'd love to just camp out there overnight and see what happens.

Ah Poet, if you had to put the two together, I too would go for Thor.  The long hair, the muscles *wipes away a bit of drool*  My obsession is of the non-Loki sort.  The makeup they put on him makes him look ready for a funeral to me.  LOL  Quite cadaverish.

 

I love the scantily cladness Dav, that I appreciate, it's the stingy hair that makes him not so attractive.  LOL
