Since this seems to have kicked off the votes on me, let me explain a little bit more of the basis for my gut feeling there.

 

The bolded sentence does not read to me like Town Hally.  The bolded sentence reads to me like Hally trying to find a justification to keep her vote on someone, with possibly a bit of advice from seasoned teammates.  It doesn't read as genuine to me, and gave me a strong gut ping.

 

And since the game needed movement due to a short deadline, I followed up on it to see the reactions.

As far Tress, I don't agree that there's not as much evidence.  In addition to her weird responses and being off her meta (which is what has prompted me to leave my joke vote on her as an actual serious vote), there's also how others have voted for her and reacted to the vote on her. 

 

Here's Key, who had her joke vote on me and decided to try to justify keeping it there, twice. 

 

In response to the bold, I never said I thought Darthe was mafia.  I said I always expect he's pulling some sort of crazy gambit, but truth be told he never is when I expect it (see Basel's Pizza game for example).  I expect it, but I don't believe it, and there was no reason to vote him.  And there are ways to find out if he is, which I expect will be utilized at some point.

 

She then went on a questioning spree of everyone who voted me with no reason or little reason, which looks awfully townie of her, but then came back to deciding to keep her vote on me because "I'm off my meta", whatever that is supposed to mean.  Truth, Key, how often have you played with me lately?  What is my meta now?  What is my meta when I'm at work and have very restricted internet access and little time to post on my phone?  What responses of mine did you consider "weird"?

2.  IPA is good.  My favorite is Sierra Nevada Torpedo.

I will see your Torpedo and raise you a Bells Two Hearted.  Bells just started distributing in NY October 1 and I'm LOVING this ability to drink this world class example of an IPA on a whim.

 

 

 

Ever have Founder's Centennial?  It's pretty awesome to taste it back-to-back with Two Hearted as they are both single hopped with Centennial and both brewmasters manage to coax quite a different flavor from the hops.  Of the two, as close as it is taste-wise, I think I might have to give the edge to Founders.

 

Otherwise, really enjoying Green Flash's Hop Odyssey series and their recently released (to GA at least) Green Bullet Triple IPA.  Finished off two sixers of Ballast Point Sculpin and Modus Hoperandi from Ska Brewing.  Both were excellent.

So, how many here think that darthe may want to pull off the "I can claim I'm scum and get away with it" play?  I think it is well within his meta to try to pull a stunt like that just for fun.

I won't quote or link all of them for you, but try the iso on her, it made me see something I didn't really see at first: Of her first 19 posts, 18 of them were spam and 1 was a "joke" vote on Ishy. Obviously a lot of people spammed a bit during N0, but Tress even continued that trend after day began.

 

Votes Hallia - She got a lot of quick heat for this post, tbh I at first didn't see why, but in hindsight.... eh it's still a bit of a stretch imo.

Soft defends Darthe on meta - The soft meta defense is a bit sketchy, as well as the "soon enough" part which a couple of others already commented on

Says Lenlo is buddying - What stands out to me about this post is it's brevity. Seems like Tress trying to do minimalist posts to maybe try and stay under the radar a bit, or keep from being called out for her reactions. Besides the spam, this seemed like an actual true scumtell for me

So, looking at this she def COULD be scum, but really the only way I'd see voting for her over Mish or Lenlo is cause she would make a potentially good info lynch since Lenlo and Key both defended her somewhat, and Notbob to a much lesser extent.

 

What you have pointed out as minimalist posts and only responding to Ishy's votes on me was because I was stuck at work.  Unlike many of you who seem to only post at work, I have highly filtered and monitored internet access at work, and can only get on DM from my phone.  Unfortunately, my phone's data network likes to drop out randomly for no apparent reason, so it's more of a pain in the butt than one would expect to page back and quote and respond during my work day.  I also have performance metrics I'm expected to meet, and our company has outlawed cell phones in the work areas (although my boss is a bit lenient and won't chastise you if you're actually logged out for break or lunch), so I'm mostly limited to posting during my lunch or break times, unless the boss is gone for the day and I've done enough work to stay on top of my performance metrics.

 

So yeah. When I'm at work, if you see anything at all from me, it's going to be a few short sentences on things that are easy to respond to.

Decide to try and justify?  In a game of mafia, NOT saying why you are voting someone is hardly seen at good playing.  Note all the people that I, and others, have called out for not justifying their vote.  Skipping over your second point for a minute to discuss the third.  It wasn’t because they were voting you that I questioned them.  It was because they were voting for no reason, which I don’t happen to care for.  If we all just did that it would be a very boring and not very telling game, wouldn’t it?

I havnt noticed anything of the sort, but if it happens im sorry. I refuse to back down on this because the amount of defense shes getting without her lifting a finger is way way to suspicious. She hasnt even tried to defend her self in all this, just left it up to you and BG. Even with those work hours it should be possible to get something in there.

Again, I never said I thought Darthe was mafia. You have twice justified keeping your joke vote on me for that and "meta" reasons which are out of date at best.

 

We're running out of time for any lynch other than me, but I do suspect Key, as well as Ishy for being so sure Hally is town.
