I have to admit that my vote on AJ was just meant as a reaction test, and to get the game started. His initial post wasn't that scummy, but the reactions that I got with my vote are quite interesting. Like I said, it is odd that AJ didn't mention the wolves in his post where he asked who the scum was. There are three teams in this game and each have their own win condition and the means to achieve them. Now, I wouldn't have thought much of it if he had just brushed my vote away but he went on the defense and felt the need to explain his action, which I find pinging. I don't like how he suddenly got so serious after I my vote on him for his comment that was more meant as a joke than anything.

As I said in my post, my problem with AJ  was not that he slipped but how he responded. This game is different than others because there are two teams that we have to hunt, not one. By force of habit, anyone can make a slip in the game - be it town, mafia or wolves. But, I felt AJ went into a defensive mode and going into a damage control mode, which is what made me suspicious of him.

Cloud, Pralaya & Tina both seem to jump onto AJ pretty quickly.  Cloud for the initial slip, Pralaya for AJs reaction & Tina accusing AJ of buddying.  However, both Pralaya & cloud earlier tried to move the game away from spam and into scum-hunting, so their votes could be to get a reaction.  I also don't particularly like Yates reaction, at the moment this interchange is the most interesting thing to have happened so far (outside of Darthes opening scene anyway).  The initial 'slip' probably means nothing, but the reactions are interesting.

At the moment I'm more interested in Hallia & Kaylee, both of whom have posted since this discussion started but ignored it.

Now I just need to decide what I should think about it.

I do remember that game and I also try my best to learn from my mistakes. I never said you were a werewolf, nor do I think you are one. There are for the most part two people that are going to be searching for the wolves in this game. The seer and the mafia team. The seer for obvious reasons and the mafia because the wolves are IMO a bigger threat to them than town because the wolves can NK. Are you catching my drift yet? The fact that you so quickly jumped onto me with a case on wolves leads me to one of those two conclusions. Coupled now with how you continue to try pushing for my lynch I am getting serious mafia vibes from you.

 

Since you so strongly believe that I'm anti-town, which faction do you think I belong to? I'd actually like everyone voting me to answer that. Eventually we're going to have to differentiate between the two.

Pral came across as more genuine to me in his posts. I'm not going to get into the debate of vote placement on trains, that's retarded. I don't care that he voted me after you did. Now that you're taking what he said and agreeing with them is just an easy way for you to justify the action in the first place.

Unfortunately I think the good metal movement has kind of came and seen it's day in America... but a lot of those bands (like Megadeth) opened the door for a lot of the stuff we see today.

What reason would AJ have to distinguish at this point? Does it matter? If he felt someone was scum, meaning anti-town as most of us refer to it, then why need to differentiate? I don't see much use in pushing for a lynch I don't believe in anymore. I don't play like this to get a person lynched without figuring out if he is town or mafia; I was trying to pressure him to get a better feel for his game.

His emo posts were part of my reason to unvote because I don't associate such posts with AJ's usual playstyle, but more importantly I liked his recent posts and and the way he defended himself. His posts make sense.

 

You have an interesting point about Mish not appearing to take the two scum teams into consideration. I also get the feeling that she is just watching from the sidelines, but she tends to sit on the fence a lot this early in the game so it isn't very telling imo.

What use would a trap have if you don't follow up onto it with more pressure? I admit that my case was a bit loose but you can't really expect a bulletproof case right at the start of the game. I questioned AJ on every point that stood out to me, and the way he defended himself makes me believe that he is town. I'm aware that the initial FoS was weak; I already explained that I didn't find his post scummy but I voted for him anyway to see how he would react, and to get the game started. His reaction that followed was what I found pinging. I wasn't trying to divert the attention to Pral, because if I wanted to do that then I would have stopped going after AJ. Him being OK with Pral's vote, but not with mine was one of the main points of my case against him. He also didn't vote for me while thinking I was a wolf, but he has already disproven this point. I wasn't backpadeling; My reads on him only changed after our argument. Should I have kept pushing for his lynch instead while thinking I would kill a townie? I have also already explained that I thought he was a wolf.
