Two other people already mentioned that though. Myself included.

So what do you find interesting about it?

Like I said, I find it an interesting mechanic / role and it's something I haven't seen before.

What do you think the point of it is?

Could you please refrain from using so many different colours in your posts? It's really distracting and almost makes me want to just skim over your post.

Have you seen the color-discussion between Ithi and Des? I used all the colors they proposed, just to make them happy

btw, for the timing, in my time zone, RTE made his first post at 8:31 am. So, unless he started sending pms an hour before, Hallia was already in bed by that time.

I saw the purple and the orange and thought it was funny. I am curious as to why you want to make me happy though ... what's in it for you?

There has to be 'something in it for me' in every post I make? Since when?

This is a game, and town has to win. Which means trying to keep people active, interested, cooperative, ... Inactivity is heaven for mafia.

And yes, I'm posting too much again

votes so far:

- Wombat (1): Thorum

- Thorum (1): despo

- Tina (1): dice

- Ithi (1): basel

Note to self: Despo doesn't want me to vote Wombat.

That said, inf it is Man vs Gods, there would be Prometheus who is a third-party, I think

Whoa der! Ping alert!

- brings up third party in his second post of the game

- broaches setup talk WAAAAAY too early

- we can't character claim anyways, and even if we could, Prometheus would seem way more townie than 3rd party imo. Demigods can be on the human's side... seems like a really sketchy attempt to sow confusion amidst the town

Unvote, Vote Rory BD Pralaya

cant believe i have something in common with Despo   shakes head

vote Tina cause i dont have a trampoline

Why would sharing something in common with me be headshake-worthy? You sir, are in the company of awesomeness indeed!

Caught in a lie! He knows that the trampoline is not mine.

I move that anyone who has a so called 'joke vote' placed at the moment unvotes. And then we can get on with the game.

All votes placed from this point on should be genuine votes - for whatever reason. And I would recommend you give reasons.

Really? :)

So guessing a character without even pointing at anyone is somehow sowing confusion? That too on Day 1 when the whole setup is as open as it can be?

Like this?

Either way, even tho character claims aren't allowed, this leads me to believe Demeter is in the game (Persephone's mom). Altho, she def seems like a "good" God, so I don't know how that would fit into the theme if it's Man vs. Gods...

Anyways I'm babbling. Let's get the game rolling!

Yeah, you are.

What's your argumentation for that? "I don't like them" isn't enough: I happen to like them very much.

Strange start of the game: we're discussing whether it's allowed to enjoy yourself playing a game

OF COURSE IT IS !!!

My argument is that they are pointless and allow Mafia Team Members to place random votes and then argue that they were 'just joke votes' without having to actually provide any real justification.

If you don't believe you are currently voting for a Mafia Team Member - why are you still voting for them? Your need to have a vote there without providing actual justification is out dated and silly.

Does having fun playing require that you have a vote placed?

Jealous? Can I have some tea as well, please ???

Too bad jokes (even voty ones) are the main thing to determine who's mafia day one. That and inactivity, of course. Unusual behavior in one day could be just a bad-hair-day.

Are you saying that you are behaving unusually @ Thorum ... but that we should pay no mind to it?

Also - I think I am quite clearly stating that the use of so called 'joke votes' detracts from determining who is Mafia on D1. People hide behind them.

And you still have your so called Joke Vote in place? Again I ask if you think the person you are voting for is on the Mafia Team?

And why mention inactivity at this time? Are you getting ready to set up suggested Lynches on the inactives? I'm sure that would be a very useful policy for the Mafia Team to adopt.
