I'm really pumped for this game man. And DPR has been such a challenge, it's awesome. As mafia he is going to have to kill me or die now though I expect mafia will do that anyhow.

Leak, the problem is that DPR could individually be lynched for his play or his role claim and yet because he is DPR you newer people won't get on the fugging lynch. "Big Game Hunting" as you called it is an excuse to blow off my casework and pushes on the person who is, by far, the scummiest person in the game IMHO

 

I mean, that's one opinion.  I have played in plenty of games where a player gets over their head, someone or several someones cry for their lynch, and when they're lynched, they turn town.  DPR seems to have started making more sense as far as I am concerned.  As far as the whole "Cult of DPR," well I can't answer for others, but so what?  I'm not sure why this thought exists seeing as how he's a person that I don't even know irl and has no bearing in any way on me as a person (except maybe in how I play mafia on this forum).  I vote based on what I think, not how others are thought of (which is why I enjoy alt games so much).

 

I'm not trying to call out you as a shitty player or anything, just trying to point out what I thought might be detrimental to the town.  And while tunneling can be effective, and sensical (especially if you're 100% that someone is scum), it can also be blinding.  Just wanted to point that out, nothing more.

 

Attempting to lynch Hallia at this point is not only counter productive but useless.

 

Counter productive maybe, but I'd like to know why you think it's useless.  Do you think she's innocent, or do you just want DPR lynched asap?

 

Beyond which, the logic that we can wait on DPR's lynch in the hopes of a PR fixing it later is a stalling tactic. It's not even a very effective one. I've already pointed out that this could be circumvented and even if he does get viewed as mafia it then wastes two days (now) and an outted PR on someone whose play has frankly been subpar.

 

So is it his play or his claim that has you up in arms?  If I remember correctly, you were after him before he claimed.  I can't think of slip he's made except maybe the one Wombat called, or, at least, I missed it if one occurred.

False. The vast majority of symps I see lately don't know their teammates first. When I first joined DM, a lot of symps could see the QT, hence people throwing out symp tests on there. For some reason however, that changed, and now symps basically have to wait till they're recruited

Just no. What you see is a variant. What I said is accurate as the original version of the role. If it is changed here now, fine. But it should be called a symp then....it barely qualifies. But that is semantics, so I'll drop it.

I understand that man and didn't take it personally at all. My point in the matter that I am 100% on DPR and with that comes the resolute attitude yet I have noticed that in general he has a reputation that makes others put more stock in his words and I think he is using that to his advantage. Can we honestly say that if someone else (me for example) made that claim and stated direct contradictions at several points clearly with no purpose other than to keep myself alive that I wouldn't be speed lynched? I doubt it

This last point I wont red sunce it is out of the quote. the answer is: Again, both. I have pointed out slips, they aren't stated contradictions but rather semantic and logical contradictions. Players this experienced tend to state 90% truth with just enough off to push in the direction they want from my experience. DPR tried to pull a Mynd at the beginning of this game, and my first reaction was that it reminded me of Mind as Cersei in my first modded game.

Dather has been relentless on getting me lynched, so much so that he's led the charge for two days, effectively wasting the Town's time that could have been spent running up at least 4 players by now. Why? Seriously, why would a player do that?  

 

Des is back to flog my train again - again for the second day - and even flourished a little with his un-vote and re-vote. I'd call it contrived, but hey, that's just me. 

 

The case against Hallia is logical in terms of her interaction with Mish - it's an actual case.

 

Whatever with the rest. I've pointed out bold-faced lies, spins and just plain old time-wasters. If I'm around tomorrow I'll make the same points again.

I actually gotta agree with DPR on this one... But that is mostly because I find night talk to be very interesting as town; it shows who's around. It's nothing to solely base a case on, but I gotta admit that when someone I already feel suspicious about is online at night, it makes me pursue them a bit harder.

Cloud and Mish is Europeans so they should be able to catch up. 

 

Never expect me to be able to catch up to a certain time in the mornings. I have sleep issues, and sometimes I won't get up until 2 or 3 in the afternoon if I haven't slept properly during the night.

 

NOLDER: Would it be possible for you to have a timer-link in your vote counts? I really don't understand American timezones at all, so that would be very helpful.

 

I have no idea what to do with my vote now... DPR's role sounds like it's a given to be in this game really; for those not familiar with the story, the bad guys kidnap "The princesses or heart" to use them for evil things. So the princesses are very important. I'm doubtful to put my vote on him. Tina stayed her course, and even though her reasons have been explained differently, I feel better about her today. I think I'm gonna refrain from voting; too short until deadline and I don't feel like either Tina or DPR are people I want dead right now.

Read the game again, all in one go this time. Last Day I kept checking the game on my phone when I was out, so I wasn't as concentrated as I usually am and ended up mixing things up terribly. I confused posts between players and all my reads were way off. So yeah, in hindsight, I should've hammered DPR. Let's make up for that today.

So Tina and DPR are the only two Mish really had any interaction with.  The way she kinda goes back and forth between picking at something they did, and then thinking they're town, and then with DPR pings to me. I'm wondering if she got that early vote on DPR so that she could later find a reason to unvote, and find someone else, thus drawing attention away.
