I'm also gonna do something I rarely would do. I'm gonna ask the cop to come forward, IF, and only if, you viewed anyone else than Dap during the night. Why? Because right now we're 7 players. If we don't lynch mafia today, and a townie dies during the night, that leaves us with 5 players tomorrow, 2 of wich are mafia. If the cop comes forward with a town reading on someone, we have 2 more or less confirmed town + csarmi. That means that the odds of hitting mafia is way bigger, and leaves us in a better situation tomorrow. If we lynch a townie today, and if mafia takes out either csarmi, the cop or the person the cop has gotten a town read on during the night, we're still left with 2 confirmed townies tomorrow, meaning there's only 3 unknowns wich of 2 probably are mafia, giving town a much better standing. But I say it again: If you're cop and you viewed Dap during the night, do not come forward, it's no use then.

Example with names: If Hallia is the cop and she viewed me as town, that means two people we can more or less take out of the equation, narrowing it down to between Via, Kay, Basel and Time. Even then if Hallia, you or me is killed during the night, the town still have two confirmed townies alive tomorrow, tomorrow is our final gameday unless we manage to lynch mafia today. It's a numbers game and logic is we want to make sure we have as many safe numbers as possible. But I forgot one thing: COP! If you viewed csarmi, there's also no use in coming forward. Only if you have a view on someone we don't know is town. ----- Kaylee: I know you have a limited time getting online. I guess one piece of advice I'd give you is to not promise to come back later with thoughts, since I think I've seen that used against you in every game I've played with you. It's a very tpical mafia technique to do that, hoping they don't have to. It's better than you post when you can, and try to make those post worthwhile. ------Basel, how on earth could I put suspicioun on a DEAD player that we all know is town?!

Mish, I agree with your logic (mostly), but it's the Cop's job to know what to do, when to do it and why do it. 

 

I'm pretty sure that the maffia would really like to know who the Cop viewed. Don't help them.

It doesn't change the fact that it's a numbers game, and the more confirmed townies we have, the bigger chance we have of finding mafia.

It's also a game of information. The less information the enemy team has, the better.

Tomorrow is MyLo. We can't worry about hiding information from the mafia, when the information is the very thing that will help town win! It will help town more than it will help the mafia.

I'm glad there are some more views now, have read through once and will do so again after work, but just a couple of things for now.

 

hallia's case in basel does seem a bit if a reaction to his vote on her, but that doesn't necessarily invalidate anything in there, so I will be looking at that a bit closer later.

 

Mish (scrolls up to check I got that right!) Basel wad just one of a couple if people doing the same sort of thing during that period, I suppose he stood out cos he was the only one who voted from it.

Yeah I usually do those recaps when I need to sort things through myself, it's not always I post them, but I felt it was needed now since so much of the D1 interaction was between dead townies, so everybody should see what actually happened between those still alive. Of course, those are the things that stuck out as noteworthy to me, others might see different things if they reread.

My comment was to Time about availability. You're right I need to stop saying that as anything can happen between my lunch break and putting the baby to bed. I don't use it as an excuse in every game. In fact I typically do make cases and post thoughts. I was just late doing so this game.

The people I'm feeling are scummy at the moment are Kaylee and Hallia. Hallia for the Vambram vote thing and Kaylee ...... More difficult for me to put a finger on but her posts on day 1 .... I just get a feeling of trying to be active enough not to be noticed but not committing to a lot.

 

Feeling town are Time, Mish and Csarmi. Csarmi because of his claim, for Mish see my post a page or so back. Time, again difficult to find a post that really sums up what I'm trying to say but I think she is scum hunting, making cases and defending herself only when needed.

 

Basel. Now Basel I was feeling was scummy, what with revoting Time so close to deadline, and the general lurkiness that he's shown. But I am the cop and I viewed him last night and was told he is town.

I've had a bit of a tricky time deciding what was best to do ( not helped in the least by a pounding headache, so I hope this is all making sense at least) but have decided to go with it and just try and do the best I can.

tomorrow is deadline, and like i said in my list, i think we'll either find mafia with Hallia or Basel... and because Basel is not playing like he usually does when he is town, I'm guessing that if only one of the two were mafia, then it would be him...

3. Hallia- the whole thing with Vam and unvoting has me suspicious of her... she said she was going to be around all day, and while i understand that she didn't want mafia to hammer, the deadline was getting closer and closer, and he was looking scummy enough to warrant a lynch... i'm getting a scummy feel from her because of what occurred here..

 

11. Kaylee- Player voted for and was pretty suspicious of her, and I have to say that she's not really been interacting with anybody or really given any views on people and because of this both Mish and Player have found her scummy looking, and I have to agree with them that she is looking slightly scummy, but she hasn't been around too much or interacted with people to get a definite feel...
