The guests were all sad after the news of Aang´s and Belgarion´s deaths. Who had poisoned them? Who could do something horrible like that? Their hostess asked them if they wanted to do something to take their minds off the deaths. She had prepared for bungee jumping just a few miles away. Most of the guests joined her. Many of them had done much worse things than bungee jumping but it could be fun to show off in front of the ladies. They went to a bridge and the hostess showed them how to do and checked the cord to see that it was safe. Most of them had jumped when it was Hermione´s turn. She checked the cord an extra time and frowned. She shrugged, took her place at the railing and jumped. Suddenly the cord broke and Hermione fell to the ground. Noone could survive a fall like that. They all ran down the slopes to her. They found her laying on the ground with her wand next to her. She had never gotten the time to save herself with a spell. Something else lay besides her - an envelope. An envelope with poison!

Phooey, I got lynched, which is too bad, because I always liked Hermione in the Harry Potter series. She was one of my two favorite characters in those movies.

The guests were in shock. Why would sweet, sweet Hermione poison anyone? If she had been alive they could have asked her, but alas she was not. They spent the whole evening discussing but they couldn´t find any answers. Maybe they could tomorrow, after a good night´s sleep?

 

At breakfast they got the news - Neo was dead! They all ran to his room. You could have thought he was just sleeping if it weren´t for the pale skin and the fact that his mouth was filled with mud and pebbles. Neo would never fight the machines again.

It´s now Day 2. With 7 alive it takes 4 to lynch. Deadline Friday 9 PM CET.

I wonder if player got a bit close to someone in that last post, going though giving his cases on everyone.

 

Or possibly to bring down the general activity of the game?

Looking at his list isn't gonna help us that much; it's all a bunch of WIFOM. Mafia could have killed him to incriminate someone on the list, hoping we'd look to it, or yeah he could have gotten close to someone, but they're just gonna go "oh the kill was to set me up, it's obvious". So no, we have to look at everything that happened yesterday, especially interactions between Vam and another players.

The maffia might have chosen Player for the simple reason that he might have

 

a) been the detective himself

b) a likely candidate for the detective to check

Via's got a good point.  Player's usually one of the most active players.  He also is reallllllly good when he's town at sniffing people out.

All very good points about relying too much on player's last post, also when yuntheownin the fact that although he was town, doesn't mean he was right!

 

Have done a re-read and most of it seems to be between Darthe, Player, Csarmi and Peace regarding each others scummyness and reactions to various things, spelling of names etc. what you'd expect from the post counts on this thread, but since Darthe Peace and Player are all now dead town, and Csarmi uncounter-claimed doc I don't know where that leaves us. mafia obviously sitting back and letting town fight amongst themselves.

 

During the last few pages this caught my eye.

 

With the knowledge that Darthe was town, the way Vam appears to be going after him does make him look pretty scummy.

I was not going very hard after Darthe, but I was merely agreeing with the case that was being made against him by other players. Does it really make me scummy if I agree with town players without me going through to make a lengthy case on my own??? Also, please note that I did UNVOTE Darthe after I was satisfied with the good defense that he had made for himself, here.

 

 

I am Town, and I hope that you all can be convinced to shift your vote to someone else. But, my experience tells me that probably won't happen.

So what do you make of him unvoting for Darthe a few pages back?

Now Vambrams explanation and Hallias unvote is only a couple of minutes apart, and that last quote makes the whole thing seem a bit like a play: Hallia votes Vambram to seem more town in case of a lynch, but leave enough time to unvote after being convince by Vambrams post. She then gives a poke to Time regarding his unvote of Darthe. But then Kaylee comes in and hammers before there is a response to that from Time or anyone else, so maybe it was all left a bit late?

 

Although these posts do seem scummy to me I'm not voting yet because we don't need very many votes before Mafia can swoop in and lynch. I also don't have a lot of context for this as for Hallia the game started on Sunday (perfectly understandable by the way and am amazed and glad that you considered us at all *hug*)

You did a great job!  That looks good, and you make really good points.  I'm pretty suspicious of Kaylee at the moment, with her hammer of Vam, it seems like the decision a mafia would make in order to get town credit.  I was the L-1 vote, so no, I didn't want to leave it open to a mafia hammer had Vam been town.

I decided to hammer since Vam was at L-1 and the mod announced there was only an hour till deadline. I work and this is the time I typically can get online. I try to get online during my lunch and am usually able to. I happen to check in and see that deadline was close. I'd rather hammer a possible townie then  let it go random.

Ok, started reading back through D1. Haven't noticed too much as of yet. I think even though it's early I'll do a recap of everyone still alive and my thoughts on them. I won't start until tomorrow though as it's late and I have to be up early. I'll get to as many as I can tomorrow.
