Here's an interesting fact, if everyone from Red's VP train switched and moved her to President, she would be lynched.  Well, she would have enough votes to be lynched if we had a VP as well.  Me thinks that some people want to be seen as voting Red, even though they are detracting from her lynch.  *cough*BaselPeaceSong*cough*

I'm asking why you think scum would know that. Do you think the mods would have posted in the scum QT that it's a lynch but said PAFO in the game thread?

I don't think that makes any sense myself and borders on bastard modding so I really doubt that would be the case. Additionally there is a perfectly good reason for scum to stay off my train even if they know or think they know it's a lynch. It could have entered into their mind that I am a bomb and trying to catch an early scum or they might not want to be caught on the train after it comes to light that it is in fact a lynch or there was already a scum on the train and they don't want to be grouped together. All plausible reasons for you to be scum but not want to vote me. Therefore you are trying to earn townie points on a false premise and that stinks.

You know Player...what is "obvious" to you wasn't at all obvious to others. 

 

Mafia always have a slightly better grasp on the game at hand.  They are the "informed minority" after all.

As for my "niggly feelings" sometimes i get a feel for a player - not through one sentence or post or comment, but in general. I am not going to turn away from a gut feeling when there has been little else to go on so far.

This. I honestly find it hard to believe that anyone could argue that this wasn't simply lynching. Seriously. Whether you consider the odds that it was more than lynching or you question mechanics, still the resounding conclusion should have been that it's most likely a lynch. The vice president thing did add a little bit of questioning to it but all the same there was nothing more likely than it being a lynch all the same. Suspicious of those who are really trying to lead everyone and anyone to think otherwise (that they genuinely thought this could be a good thing and weren't scummy).

Have none of you ever played in a Kingmaker game before? I really don't think it was that outlandish to assume "elect" could mean something other than lynch after how cryptic the mods were about it.

I'd also like to point out this is an Advance game. It is common practice to expect AND receive abnormal gameplay mechanics.

No I've never been in a king maker game. Yes it's advanced so we expect abnormal things.

 

Changing how lynches work, the most basic and expected part of a mafia game, without telling us is not expected for a mafia game. If it was Kingmaker they probably would have told us.
