@RTE - I try not to come on too strong because I could be wrong. You probably remember me going hard after Ishy in the White Tower game, but I was town tracker in that game and knew for a fact he was scum. I'm going a bit hard right now because we are so close to DL. I could be wrong, but I'm hoping we caught our first scum.

Chuckles as an active player with a bit more than an hour you need to participate in the vote. To not do so would be anti town.

 

Turin did slip up. But so did Tiink and that didn't make him scum... Turin is very good at this though.

 

Ishy is a bulwark. Worst possible replacement for someone we suspected as scum. I won't let this vote go random though if the Snow vote gets no traction. I hope the mods are harassing him a bit. Right now unfortunately I'm the only vote on Snow so I'm very likely to move my vote.

Yea I realized that tracker bit. But it also demonstrated your propensity for scum hunting. Your activity close to deadline has been very helpful and a welcome addition. Unfortunately people aren't around. I suspect a possible extension if only because there aren't enough players right now to even secure a lynch I think.

Have you really never heard of mafia teammates bussing one of there own in order to gain true Town credit? They pick one to be the hero and one to be the mark. that gives them one member that can slide by until end game because there is almost no chance that they will get viewed. So Anyone (TG and RTE) that truly believes that mafia would never do that are either naive or or more likely mafia trying to spread misinformation.

This should worry you Andrej. "Town and mark" strategy aside, if I thought of who would be teammates in this game, you and Dap immediately come to mind. The little tussle between you two earlier during day 2 can easily be interpreted as distancing. I don't have a scum read on either of you but if I had to link any two players together...

I must say that I disagree with quite a bit of your takes. Obviously the most wrong being that you have me as mafia. I was second on Tiink's train after I had a chance to actually interact with him and hear that what he was saying did not make sense to me. Then I pushed for his lynch so there is no way that my actions were not noticed. I put out the case and  people agreed that he was the best lynch. But welcome to the game.

'Welcome to the game'? Great snarky comment meant to discredit my entire post. And then you have Peace and Rand/Ishy as the mafia team? Peace and Ishy? Peace who has been going after Rand all game, and Ishy who calls Peace the scumminest player in the game? That is your mafia team? Either you have never played mafia before and think that in small, basic games mafia try to get their teammates lynched, or you just slipped up and outed yourself. I didn't need to discredit your post. I had already adreesed what you had to say. I just thought it funny that you had joined in. In a small basic game the buss for town cred is a very effective move. become the town leader and the sheep will follow you until end game if you get some results.

 

How Turin envisions the mafia QT:

 

Rand: hey guys, in this small, basic game, lets lynch me! I'll make a joke vote, then you all vote me for my joke vote being too jokey! Just keep coming after me nomatter what, it'll be great!

 

Peace: I like it, having even fewer of us in a small game, super plan, lets do it. We won't just case each other and comment on each other, we will really try to get each other lynched.

 

Ishy: Hey guys, I just came in and I really like your plan. Us trying to win with good play would have been stupid anyways. I just hope nobody is so awesome at this game that they realize we are on a team.

 

In conclusion, Turin is scum, lynch him.

The case on Rand was never just for his "joke" vote. it was about his overall play. I think if you ask Ishy and Peace they will agree that bussing a teammate early can be an effective mafia strategy.

 

How the mafia QT really is:

 

Turin: Alright, let's make sure we comment on each other but don't lynch each other unless a so lately necessary. We will try to get the scumminest looking townies lynched....hmm...that looks like peace and rand/Ishy so far. I'll go claim they are on a team.

 

Teammates X and Y: good plan

 

Turin: Oh, I forgot they were trying to lynch each other and are obviously not on a team, uh-oh.

Who are X and Y? do you think no one else mafia? Afraid to take a stand on anyone not the mafia choice for lynch?

 

@AJ : why don't you vote Turin? Dude just claimed that two players going after each other are actually teammates. Obvious scum.

Again, how long have you beeen playing this game if you have never heard of 2 mafia going after each other and actually pushing the lynch. It even has a name. It is called a gambit.

Peace is really only going for Ishy, not the other way around. Ishy is voting me, like you were previously. He made a comment about him, yes, but I think he was just trying to discredit my post by say I was defending Peace who is "one of the scummiest players"

Peace has been going hard at Rand/Ishy the whole game, since the very beginning. Turin, as an experienced player, would know that they would not be teammates. He slipped up. Again, why are you not voting Turin after his mistake?

 

The thing is teammates distance, teammates include each other in cases, but they don't actively build trains to get each other lynched.

 

 

I'm coming in strong for a couple reasons A) it is close to DL, B) one or two votes will swing Turins train to be the dominant one and C) I have to leave in a few and won't be able to be here at DL so I'd like to see the person with the obvious scum slip be well on their way to getting lynched before I head out.

It's actually easier for him not to make a claim. Making one opens up the opportunity for someone to counter claim. Also in his favor is the game's inactivity: if he's scum and makes a false claim, with the real role person not around the counter claim may come late.

Yeah kivams gambit exists. Turin is right. Where he is wrong though is the rand never went back at me. And ishy hasn't either. He's doing his best to come across as non chalant. Even not voting me to look more town like. I expect a switch to me before the deadline.
