With their guide dead and their camera man having no clue where they were, the group attempted to follow their tracks back toward the hotel. During the walk everyone started to argue about who had poisoned Darthe. Was it Snow? What about Mish? What about the camera man?

 

As the group kept walking though and the sun crept closer and closer the the horizon it became obvious that they weren't going to make it back to the hotel before dark. By this time one name was being passed around the most. Tiink. It had to be Tiink.

 

It took them awhile to setup camp and decide what to do with him but eventually they decided that the most humane way was to just get rid of him. After all, no one in the group could murder someone in cold blood right? Only hours later they heard a scream out in the jungle. They knew that they wouldn't be seeing Tiink ever again.

 

Tiink - Vanilla Town has been Lynched!

 

It is now Night. Please send in all night actions or tell us whether or not you will be using them.

Turin mentor game? I think you mean that I'm playing scummy? You were mafia in that game right?

I was mafia in that game. However, I think the general consensus of the town was I was one of them.

 

Dap, the worst thing I have seen from you this game was that exclamation. It is a pet peeve mafia tell for me.

I can quote you me saying probably the exact same thing in my previous games with you

It's not really an "oh no" it's more that, I get angry when someone who I thought was mafia wasn't and I was so sure he would be mafia and then RTE would be too

Dap, I don't understand how you can be so sure (pre flip) on day 1.  Only scum can be sure of alignment Day 1. 

 

It did seem likely (well, his last few posts had me second guessing a bit) he would flip scum, but I don't get the being sure deal. 

 

The best I ever feel day 1 is maybe 60-40. 

 

The good thing is there was a ton of good discussion to analyze.

As to the buddying comment, TG hasn't done much in this game but step in and throw suspicious ideas out about people. Your attempt to throw LZM under the bus for being inactive has already been pointed out. I'm a new player, I listen to anyone's advice that I find helpful. I came into this game intentionally without a mentor, prior to role assignments, so I could learn for myself. But it would just be stupid of me not listen to good advice from other experienced players.

I was certain because before the game I had been talking to Tiink on PMs about how to improve my game play. He said some things on there and RTE said almost exact quotes of that. Tiink said nothing of the sort on this thread (I checked) and I couldn't find any mention of the things on other threads

 

It was more of the way he phrased things but it i felt like I was reading Tiinks posts not RTE and it really stood out to me

I may have misspoke. I guess you would actually say that it is a pet tell. One that always gets my attention. The reason was in a previous game in which I had discovered a mafioso. Long story short, I ended up being the one that got lynched and EVERY SINGLE MEMBER of the mafia team except the person I was after posted something along the lines of "sorry, I guess we should have listened to you."

Turin, you're playing very much like you did in that game as well. Dap I don't like your apology. I'm not happy that I turned out to be wrong, I was very confident that we had landed scum, but I'm not sorry. His play was poor and this is where it led him. But like I said before, much will be learned from his coroner report and now we have some things to go and look back on. More thoughts in the morning.

Commenting on the result of a lynch or a NK is always a "doomed if you do, doomed if you don't"-thing, especially if you're the first poster afterwards. No matter what you do, people will take it as a tell. Turin, you would have found reason to comment on it if he hadn't mentioned Tiinks flip as well, seeing as he was the first poster. The only times I've seen it happen that people have commented on a townie getting lynched and nobody reacting to people's reaction, is if it's a last minute desperate lynch to avoid random.

Actually I would not have had a problem if he had no emotional outburst. It was small anyway but the most questionable thing I had seen from him.

 

AJ, you could see it that way and I am devious enough to put that out so I could afterwards say "I would never tell you my game plan if I were really mafia"

 

Things would make a lot more sense if Tiink had actually flipped mafia but nothing is ever easy.

I meant it more that Dap was taking a buddying/mentorship role with you, which he already responded to.  As for "only" throwing suspicion out, I have my town reads and my scum reads, which I mentioned in my quick casing post. However, it is a common scumhunting tactic to poke people and see how they react.

You'd think with a basic game it'd take like 30 minutes to get the night actions in.  Come on peeps...you are burning up valuable week day time.  Hold off too long and we are into the dreaded weekend.

As the sun started to rise over the horizon people in the camp started to wake up and begin cooking breakfast. One by one everyone checked in, grabbed some food and started to pack up camp. It wasn't until there was only one tent still unpacked. It was then that everyone realized that they had yet to see LZM.

 

The moment they opened the tent flap they knew that this wasn't over. His body was pale and his veins filled with black. He must have died some time during the night...

 

Question is, who did it?

 

LZM - Vanilla Town was killed!

 

Night Ends, Day 2 begins.
