Well anyway I hope you can see now that there's nothing odd about it. If you want I can go digging for DM examples. I went with this because it was easier for me to find.

All that said, it still felt off to me, the way you went about it out of the blue without any questions being asked.

The day had just started and I was checking in when it occurred to me. And yes preempting questions was very much the point. Let's say Hallia is the doctor and she wonders if the person she protected was saved and naively asks on thread, instead of to the mod, whether or not doctors are usually informed whether they protected successfully or not. This would obviously tip everyone off that she's the doctor and out her role which isn't something we want.

So you're assuming she's dimmer than the average new player? Got it.

Now you're putting words in my mouth. I never called her dim nor do I know the extent of her mafia knowledge. All I know is that she is new and I was trying to help her out and help the town out at the same time. Assuming she's town of course, for all I know she may not be.

^ Was that linking or distancing?  I just want to know which you intended so we can hang the non-contributional newbie with it after your scum flip.

Red, where are you?

We're linking like only townies can!  Could it be that you are scummy, and trying to cast doubt between the townsfolk?

Vote Darthe

Eh my vote remains on Red. I think that Darthe is town. I have my suspicions of Nolder, but I prefer to go after Red right now. She tried to pull the same escape act in the Bloodlust game and there she was still active in the QT. Let's just lynch her.

Come to think of it Red has been more passive in this game than usual IMO

I guess she could be trying to play to her meta while laying low but I'm reluctant to lynch her based solely on that

I still feel my case on Darthe is solid and am very surprised he hasn't been lynched yet. He literally backpedaled and contradicted himself. He wanted to lynch Hallia for being new andthen when he got called on it he played it off like it was a reaction test and then later turned around and went right back after Hallia for the same reason. It doesn't make any kind of sense from a townie POV. If he was town and was reaction testing he wouldn't have gone after her again later that day for the same reasons. I would stake any possible reputation I may have as a mafia player on his being scum.

And so we approach the closest thing to a stalemate we can get right now... Only thing missing is Red showing up to vote Darthe

Ain't that the truth. We have a couple of days to sort this out, but I'm fine with a Red lynch too. Red is more of a gut feel though which is why my vote is on nolder instead, but we need a lynch today.

unvote, vote red

You're going to lose some rep then this game bud.

I legit am about to hammer Red if nobody objects?

I seriously doubt that.

Look at this right here? Asking permission? That's a basic scum move right there. You use it to propose bad ideas (in this case lynching red, she's probably a townie given how her train built up so much steam so quickly at the end there) and then let the town discuss it. If they go with the bad idea, hey everyone agreed so it's not YOUR fault right? And if they don't that's ok too nothing was lost. Tell me how you're still alive please. I'd love to know what you're doing because when I'm scum I usually get lynched really early but you're on your way to day 3.
