In this game, if Cloud is telling us the truth, he will give us useful info. If he is faking it, then giving him a reprieve will allow him to get tangled up in his own lies.

 

 

Basel expresses doubt on Cloud's claim basically repeating what others have said while bandwagoning onto the Len train. More following.

 

You seem to be completely ignoring the bit where I laid out my reasoning about Cloud. And since today was DL day, do you really expect there was another viable lynch besides Len after Cloud claimed that would keep it from going random?

Peter was a sad man, plagued first by his own village and now by the burdens of knowing his death was imminent.  However, the manner of it was not nearly as he expected.  He ran down the path, pursuing one he was certain was evil, saw the tail of his coat rounding the corner.  Suddenly a panic hit him, the poison.  He had to act quickly, his limbs were rattling and his blood burned from the inside.  With effort he managed to get momentum and swung his body around the corner.  The man was gone!  

 

Peter panted, knowing he may have lost his final chance, and that was when the one tailing him slid his blade into Peter's ribs.

So far Darthe has included the players genders in the RPs. I don't know if he also included the Mafia's genders in the scenes but if he did then Kae isn't the Poisoner. This of course is pure speculation from my part but it's at least something to think about.

Can you investigate Kae this night? I fear that this issue won't resolve itself without an investigation or a lynch. 

 

I'm a little confused that Peter would be town based on the wiki report on him. Perhaps he really was recruitable. again pure speculation on my part.

That there seems to be no evidence in his report that he was turned(or even in the process of being turned) but it could be he wasn't a vamp yet because he didn't finish dying from the poison. I dunno. But to say Kae is definitely mafia because Despo thought so is flawed logic. Since he was vanilla he obviously didn't have a view or anything like that. The sketchiest thing I remember on Kae was that she failed to post a vote when she was going to be gone through deadline D1

This post pings a little to me. I think that it would show in Despo's role if he was recruitable or not. Arguing if Despo became a vampire just before he died only creates unnecessary WIFOM. 

 

Wait, but did he die from poison? He was stabbed, he didn't die of the poison. It almost looks like a day vig. I dunno, the only game I've played with poison was the Hobbit-game and there it was specifially said that the one person who got poisoned, died from poison. I don't know if I'm reading too much into the scene.

 

Going to bed, hoping to be more back to normal tomorrow evening.

 

He was paralyzed by the poison and then finished off with a stab of a dagger. I thought that this was pretty clear.

Ithi's writing is totally different from Dice's. I think it isn't wise to go with the train on Dice/Ithi for now. 

 

First comment about Darthe's scene: Doesn't make sense and seems to be working hard at trying to clear Kae.

Next: Directing the flavor cop. Asking him to view Kae. So sure she will come back town are you? How?

Third: I was trying to explain that it is possible that Despo was never completely turned as he was killed before the poison could take it's full effect. The line about  it being a mercy could be viewed as either saving the painful death the poison could cause or that it saved him from becoming a blood sucking Demon. As to there being something in Despo's flip that he was specifically recruitable is also looking to be spoon fed. It is just as likely that everyone is recruitable with a few exceptions that are noted specifically.

Fourth: Where is the sign of paralysis. You know something avbout the poison the rest of us don't? It is clear that Despo died from being stabbed so the poison never took its full course.

Final: really? going shawshank? I don't like that you imply that you are town with your statement while trying to make it look like Ithi is not. Then you turn around and say that because she writes differently than Dice that you don't want to vote her. You were already voting Basel so you are trying to get people to back off her. Many are afraid that She will turn her eye of Mafia finding on them and so leave her be during the day to kill at night.

 

I am getting more and more suspicious of you. and your Basel vote. I think it is worth a vote right now.

Well, I'm nut sure if I have to unvote, but I will do so to let Ithi have time to establish her own part in this game. I'm going to go with a Cloud vote. Directing the flavor cop pings a little. The bit about gender in Darthe's posts sounds like a crazy made-up case, the sort a mafia member will resort to when trying to make a townie look anti-town.

They feared the night, questioned the darkness and the mysteries that it held, hid from them.  He did not.  Perhaps he should have.  The man had little time though, his watch said so.  He checked it fervently, every few seconds looking down as if afraid that time would run away from him.  And it did.  His first step into the interior burial chamber triggered yet another magic, this time a blue fire that washed through the room.  The man noted this only just before it took him.  Muscles began to twitch through his arm, brain saying to shield his face.  His arms screamed to move faster than the flame, to shift.  An inch, a fraction, movement towards salvation.  It did not come.  The flames engulfed him and then... nothing.  The man blinked, his arms halting mid voyage, and questioned what had happened?  And then he realized.  He felt younger, reinvigorated.  Yet he was no longer in the burial chamber but instead in the keep, surrounded by the others again.  It was so.. foreign feeling.  When he went back, the chamber was gone.  Replaced by a simple brick wall.

Her head held high, Elizabeth Forbes stormed out to hunt on her own.  Leave her from the decisions would they?  They always wanted to put her on the sides, to let that damnable Van Helsing hold all of the glory.  Well, despite her upbringing she was going to find a vampire and she was going to kill it.  Nothing would stop her.  As Elizabeth stomped down a corridor she noted that the place could use a good dusting.  Hmph.  Suddenly a little man stood before her.  There was no warning, no footsteps, smell, or otherwise.  He was simply there with a gap toothed smile and clothing far too lavish for his face or stature.

 

Elizabeth's lip curled, whoever this peasant was he was no vampire.  The little man bowed to her and stepped aside, removing himself for her comfort as one should.  

 

It was as she pulled her skirt over to avoid brushing the wretch that he moved.  She caught the motion from the corner of her eye, a blur too fast for interpretation, and the blade was in her.

 

The corridor grew dim and the final words Elizabeth heard were "The Count sends his regards" spat into her ear.

Allow me to start things off by voting for Basel. I've been uncomfortable with his play since Day Two. The Lenlo lynch goes some way to making me like Ithi.

I don't know how many posts I have. Good morning. I really can't be bothered today so am writing this in bed to delay having to get up.

 

From yesterday:

 

Basel: doesn't mention mafia death, has some serious arguments about semantics at night. Complains that what else could he do but vote the leader at such a late stage - when he's had plenty of time previous to vote. Never answered me when I asked him who he thought a better option to Lynch apart from him was. Follows other people's arguments and votes.

 

Mish: still feels wrong, although was second vote on Len - so I'm a little unsure about her.

 

Erm Cloud did a good woot job when I pointed out the absence. But I dunno about him. I just feel like his posts are not careful enough for him to be mafia and talking on a QT. It really feels like he is typing whatever pops into his head. As he is still alive then I would like to know how many Mafia were on the Len Lynch - and then could someone else do the clever stuff and use that to compare to his previous info etc. That kind of stuff makes my head hurt.
