What? I'm starting a new trend: Disassociated puns. Puns are normally only nominally funny on the spot when relevant to whatever was being discussed, so you'd expect that a pun that came at the wrong time, devoid of any ironic context to put it in, would be dumb and not funny, right?
 

WRONG. Dead wrong. Like, Carrot Top's comedy career dead wrong.

 

Cause, like, POW! that's why. They're funny cause they have the potential to be, and I shall not dissect all the other reasons why cause that would defeat the point.

 

But this point will not be defeated. Disassociated Puns! Give it a shot!
