^lol - I'd love to see that on the immigration form (or whatever it is you have to fill in)

Reason you want to work in our country: so I can walk to work :)

Almost as good as someone ticking the yes box to the US exchange student paperwork question: Are you a terrorist?

I've been in every N. American state that touches the Pacific.

I would tell them: "I want to walk to work in order to be more awake and active in my job position, which will hopefully teaching English in a school like or university setting to help increase the effectiveness of your countries foreign affairs."

Or would that still come off wrong? haha

But seriously, I hate driving to work in the morning and the way home. I loved driving home after my 2,3 or 4am shifts because there was no one on the roads!!

I feel your pain. The traffic here in TERRIBLE in the mornings and early evenings when everyone is either going to or leaving work.

Roadways are always so much more peaceful in the wee hours of the morning

I think that's fine, but may not fit in the box :)

My commute is a 10min drive, and at least 3 minutes of that is the driveway to work which has a 10mph speed limit.

I can see mountains from my office window (although not right now as the clouds are in and it's trying to snow) and a castle from my house.

Two appartments ago my commute was between 45 minutes and 2 1/2 hours, depending on traffic.

Mine averages 45 min to an hour. When there's a wreck....yeah we just hope there isn't!

I wear glasses!

I wear contacts.....and sometimes glasses

In 6th grade I crocheted a baby blanket for my sugar baby. (class assignment where you carry around a thing of sugar because it weights like a baby, not unlike when students carry around an egg as if it is a baby and have to keep it from cracking for a week.)

After my sugar baby was sentenced to the kitchen, its baby blanket turned into a rather ugly potholder. I was in 6th grade... my crocheting was not the best!

I walk to school (daily)

I'm jealous - I wish I could walk more every day. It's so much healthier for you and yet it is so unrealistic for me to walk the 30 miles to work....

I don't see why not.  I mean, it would only take about 10 hours a day of running  :bela:
