I simply read through all the Day 2 posts and thought I saw a pattern here where either Rand or Nols had to be scum. Once I started talking about it, we've magically heard from Mish, Dice, Starrik, Basel and WBK again.

I honestly still don't feel right about Kronos, but I said I was giving him a pass. (And Basel, if you read back through how that went down, I didn't back off WBK immediately, as you stated before), so that's what I'm doing.

I see your point. I was looking at this purely from an information standpoint: it seemed like the only way to learn something from a lynch, as they were the two strongest opposing forces in the game so far.

"Truly believe" would mean a certainty, and in mafia you should never allow yourself to be 100% certain of anything. But I think it is the most likely scenario. Them being "the two strongest opposing forces" doesn't necessarily mean anything; I've been in quite a few games where the people going at each other the most both turned out town.

Basel, you're experienced enough to know that that is not true. It can hint that the other is scum, and it can be inferred that the other is scum, but it can't be confirmed. I dislike this attempt at trying to attach them 100% together. I have a feeling that one of them might be your scum buddy who you may be bussing, then you can get one townie death. If there is one townie one scum this pair, you will be looking a little suspicious.

(Especially D2) And then there's you, Mish, who successfully started the train on Cyan, who ended up flipping town. I admit I believed she was mafia too, but if you're going to reach back there, I have to at least consider that.

 

There's a lot of people in here I believe are acting really suspicious. Kae's stance against being L-1 but dropping the hammer? Very pingy. Darthe jumping in to be the L-1 on Cyan while FoSing Kae pinged me too.

This is stretching quite a bit. As you already wrote, Mish posts quite a lot, Wolfbrotherkronos is only new to this game and mafia in general, and dice and I are in a very different time zone to the majority of players here, it makes it hard to keep active when people don't post around the same time I do. You do seem to be trying to link a lot of people together, and deflecting the attention onto others instead of refuting the claims against you. FoS on Random, but I'm not convinced that BB isn't mafia.

Yes, I started the train on Cyan. I'm not the first person nor the last to suspect an innocent player. I've been lynched on D1 as vanilla townie myself; you know, you were there. But the fact still is; we KNOW now that Ishy was scum, and at that I'm not gonna do anything he wanted, lynch anyone he wanted lynched, before I don't have a choice. And I'm gonna suspect everyone who is willing to do what a known scum wanted.

We're not on a team, I just saw something more beneficial to town developing and I tried for it. You can say that's too little too late, but the fact is I've just been doing my best to try and actually scum hunt.

 

The fact remains that we don't really learn anything from a BB lynch, but if Rand and Nols are both town as everyone else seems to think, then I'd rather get one scum with this lynch than nothing.

Yeah, this late in the game, not neccessarily actual game time, but in game events. There was a lot to comment on and a lot of stuff happened. A vote for inactivity is a fluff vote, and if murky inactivity is the reason for the vote, then why not John Snow or Dice, who actually have maybe dive posts between them? It doesn't make sense.

 

How was I trying to get a lynch on Kronos...? o.O I said he was a noob...

 

And what other roles would there be in a basic? They're just the ones that came to mind at the time.

 

I don't have much experience with vigilantes, this is my first game with one, but I guess I don't reaaally need to know who the vig is, they're not gonna be scum, so I'll stop trying to figure it out.
