You try to avoid all talk about set up. When someone mentioned symps and stuff you moved the conversation away, and even now you are not keen to talk about it

 

No one else is voting for you so why would you bring them into it? Are you trying to use another game as a defence?

I have no problem telling you why I voted you. You just hadnt asked and pretended it was a joke to make it look like less than it was. I also realise everyone is joking around but you stuck out to me. Now there isnt much going on right now but give it a while and the deadline will loom. Then I reckon voting you and lynching you will give a lot more information than a random last minute bandwagon

As the game goes we might get a better lead but for now you are my target

 

There is a neat thing about gut feelings. They are actually measurable and are an emotional response triggered by something. It's normally something unconscious but it is something worth noting

Tbh, this does standout somewhat, cause I think 2 people had made all of 3 posts total lightly discussing setup. Not like it was the dominant tone over the first few pages (that would be the whole posting in chinese thing )

 

I'd say the setup hints more at symps than multiple mafia teams.

 

How so? The way the OP reads to me, we prob got regular darkfriends, seanchan, and a couple of loose forsaken that I'm betting are third party. Aaaaand I'm thinking you might be a great candidate for being one of those Forsaken folks.

 

What I tried to put was: Confucius say, "Man with hole in pocket feel cocky all day."

 

What it translated to was: Confucius said, "the hole in the pockets of the people are proud of the day."

 

Puns will almost never translate. It's wordplay designed on the fact that words can have two meanings in a certain language, but after translation that won't really be the case. Interestingly enough, because English is such an amalgamation of so many different languages, it's also basically the best language for making puns!

So, Player might have something, but I'm not sure I'm willing to vote on his hunch yet, since it's basically based on him thinking someone is too spammy on day 1. Day 1's have gotten more serious lately, but that doesn't mean there aren't still plenty of people that post whimsical stuff day 1.

 

Instead, I'm gonna vote John Snow, since he seems to be throwing out a strange concept of how the game might be structured, considering how the OP reads. I'd bet he's either Lanfear or Ishamael.

"Hidden everywhere" - invaders, Agelmar's people and Aes Sedai are mentioned. Mat's dagger is mentioned too. With this many people playing, I think there's probably multiple "groupings" of both friends and foes. It seems likely that Padan Fain is in the game, since the Dagger was mentioned.

I was thinking that if he was a symp, using the word symp at all was an attempt to hint towards being a symp to the mafia. Symp knows mafia, but mafia doesn't know symp, so if the symp was able to hint at the mafia, they might try to recruit him and get another player. I read that as they have infiltrated everything, which I read as symps.
