WOT Mafia: The Great Hunt

 

*Each player in this game has a role and a character. Most roles come from the roles listed on the Mafia Scum Wiki HERE. (Which, by the way, is a good source for newer players who want to read up more on the game and possible roles). Everyone has been assigned a character from The Great Hunt. You may reveal characters and roles.

 

*This is a hammer game. Once the hammer vote has been cast, the Day Phase is done, and no further votes or unvotes may be counted. Day Phases will be 72 hours long, and Night Phases will be 24 hours long. Weekends count as half-days.

 

If you do not send a NA in time, you missed your chance. If you do not achieve a lynch before the deadline, nothing will happen - the first time. If it happens again after that, a random player will be modkilled.

 

*This is also a coroner game. Upon the death of each player, their character, role, and alignment will be revealed.

 

*Scenes are pretty much just for flavor, and will probably be fairly short and to-the-point. I'm one of these players who doesn't really like to read scenes anyway, and I'm not much for writing them unless the theme is original material. In a WOT game, I kind of feel like the story has already been written, so I'm not going to waste too much time writing elaborate scenes.

 

That doesn't mean you can't glean anything from the scenes, but I'm not one of these mods who likes to drop hints into scenes.

 

*Votes and unvotes must be bolded. Colored votes are nice because they stand out more, but they don't have to be colored.

 

*You may not communicate off-thread with other players about the game unless your Role PM says otherwise.

 

*Do not quote any communication from the mod, including anything from your Role PM.

 

*No editing your posts

 

*You are allowed one 'bah' post after you've died. DO NOT disclose or reveal any information in this post. DO NOT try to influence the game by telling people who to vote for, etc., in this post. I take this rule very seriously. Breaches of this rule typically result in bans from all my future games, and of course, your team will be penalized as well.

 

*I expect at least one game-related post from you per day/night cycle. If you need to take a LOA, please let me know. If something comes up and you need to be replaced, please let me know.

 

*Please keep in mind that this is a game, and meant to be fun. I won't limit anyone's game play or style, but if you find yourself being aggressive or pushing buttons, make sure you're doing it for the game, and not because you are angry at someone or because you just don't like someone. No personal attacks. Issues like that should be handled elsewhere, not in this game.

The unthinkable has happened. Fades and Trollocs attacked Lord Agelmar's keep in Fal Dara. Darkfriends walked the halls. Padan Fain escaped with the dagger from Shadar Logoth, and the Horn of Valere was stolen.

 

The Horn and the dagger must be retrieved. Without the dagger, Mat will die. And the Horn of Valere, in the hands of the Shadow, could be catastrophic.

 

Meanwhile, rumors are whispered everywhere of ships coming from the west, ships bearing the strange invaders. Some say they are the descendants of Artur Hawkwing come back.

 

Darkfriends are hidden everywhere. Among the Aes Sedai. Among the invaders. Among Lord Agelmar's solders and people. And, even worse, the Forsaken are breaking free of their prison...

 

 

The Hunt has begun.
