I don't have ten formulated but I'll add a few more to the mix.

What the blank is the blank in the blight?

Will Aviendha's visions of the future come to pass?

Is the Darkly Prophetical Broken Wolf really Perrin, and will he die at the hands of the Forsaken?

What were Moiraine's questions and answers from the snakes, and what were her other two boons from the foxes? And what was Rand's third question?

I've long harbored the thought that Demandred was behind what is going on at the Black Tower and I'm wondering if that is correct and if so what all he has been doing.

Beyond that, much of what I want answered was mentioned above, but I have a few other niggling thoughts.

How is it that Luc going off to the Blight is critical to the last Battle? Was it simply getting him away from Andor so that Tigraine would be more easily swayed, or does his turning to the Shadow have a greater meaning?

Will Lan ever know that his cousin Isam still lives after a fashion?

Will Malkier rise again once Tarmon Gaidon is over?

Will the Ogier leave the world once it is over or will they stay and help rebuild? Would they make an attempt at rebuilding Manetheren as the new capital of the Two Rivers province, or aid in the finishing of Rhuidean or the rebuilding of Maradon?

What happens to the Blight when the Dark One is sealed up? Does it vanish abruptly or does it have to be rooted out manually?

More will come to me I'm sure. :)

How will Narishma "follow after" Rand?

What really happened with Alanna and the letter?

Who is Nakomi?

Who else got letters from Verin and what is their import?

What will be the long-term purpose of Rhuidean? It was built for a larger reason....

What has Logain been doing?

Will Gawyn bite it via the bloodrings?

I've wondered what part the bloodrings have left to play. I also wonder if they just happen to be made of stone from Shayol Ghul and Rand activates one with his blood. Talk about a twist to prophecy. We know now that Moridin allowed Taim to use SG rocks to build his black tower, so maybe when IShy was off in Seanchan spun out every so often if he did not show them the magical qualities of the black rock, since RJ was said to have stated the Seanchan cannot make A'dam or any Ter'angreal. So where do they come from, right?

This is a great thread. I plan to bookmark this thread and re-read it before and after reading A Memory of Light, to see which questions get answered and which ones don't.

We know now that Moridin allowed Taim to use SG rocks to build his black tower,

Whoa, I completely missed that! Where did we learn that? Was it in Towers of Midnight? Or did Brandon mention it in an interview?

I put this out there in the How Does Rand Come Back To Life Thread - I just want to say, I think it's possible that Narishma follows soul to retrieve it and bring it back.

It was mentioned in an interview...

Terez

Is Taim's palace made of [shayol Ghul rock]?

Brandon Sanderson

Yes.

ELEANOR

Brandon looked a bit uncomfortable/hesitant answering this one. Not sure I should have warned him it was a Terez one, but he answered all the same. Theories, anyone? ALSO: Followup question asked Sun 22. Can someone ask how the stone got there? Was it dragged by teams to where it was safe to gateway?

FOOTNOTE—TEREZ

This question was also asked by another person. I was going to ask about the stone that Taim used as his podium, a symbol of his office, beginning in Lord of Chaos, but I figured the description was too complicated for a question I had to pass on to be asked by someone else. I was thinking everything at the Black Tower was made with that same rock, so I said to ask about Taim's palace. Turns out only the walls are made out of that rock, and the original podium is still used as a podium in the palace. The palace is white marble, though it has black stone columns. Brandon probably knew the walls were made out of Shayol Ghul rock, and assumed I knew what I was talking about with the palace. (I didn't.) I didn't expect him to answer the question with a 'yes', or I might have put more effort into looking it up first. So we can probably assume that the podium and the walls are made of Shayol Ghul rock, and possibly also Moridin's Blightfortress and the Towers of Midnight in Imfaral. The significance is probably mostly symbolic, like the red-and-black floor tiles in Taim's palace.

Wow, thanks for the information! I had no idea.

Does anyone know where I could find any transcripts/summaries of Q&A sessions with Brandon from book signings following the release of Towers of Midnight? I intentionally stayed away from all that sort of thing, since I didn't read ToM until quite a few months (maybe even a year) after it was released. But now that I have read it, I wouldn't mind to see if Brandon shared any other interesting nuggets of information that I might have missed.

Not a big deal though -- please don't spend a lot of time searching for links for me, as I could probably find them myself if I dig around long enough. I just figured someone may know exactly where to find a link and could easily post it.

UPDATE: I did find this one, via the link in your quote above.

UPDATE 2: Oh, and now I found this, which should keep me busy for quite a few hours. :) This is probably all I need. I would encourage everyone to disregard my request above, and get on with the original thread topic. :-)

All right, I'll throw out a few.

1. Moridin was correct that the Dark One will inevatibly win. How do we get around that?

2. What do the heroes talk about in Telaranrhiod during the wait?

3. How do the Aiel connect back to their basis?

4. Will Machin Shin be released from the Ways?

5. Will anyone use the non-gateway Traveling used in tEotW?
