screw that, when has an EP gambit ever worked? I call complete bullshanks on that whole flaky affair.

There is reasoning. Give me a second.

CURRENT VOTE COUNT:

Peace ( 11 ) - Ledzepman, JohnSnow, Tinker, Basel, Christine, EP, Rand, Kae, Niel, Shinori, Panda

EP ( 7 ) - Leelou, Lily, John McLane, Tress, Kaylee, Alanna, Arez

Not Voting (10) - Darthe, JLM, Womby, Tina, Verbal, Kate, Peace, Piano, Crush, Despo

Green is for Thread 1, should be Town Javier and Mafia Famita

Blue is for Thread 2, should be Mafia Javier and Town Famita

I think I got this right. First off I notice a real disparity in how people on either train are voting (ie: what thread they came from) and secondly why are all of these big/experienced players not voting? Several we have yet to even hear from.

Don't see any reasoning.

Sweet sweet Mary a lot of crap happened while I was gone! Sorry for my short absence, I went out and celebrated my bday last night, and woke up pretty blech. Then still had to run errands, and unfortunately had forgotten to charge my phone so it died while I was trying to post while getting my oil changed. I think I would have been too late anyways. Anyhoo, a quick catch up, as I have band practice tonight, but I'll get out more of my thoughts tonight at work:

As to the challenge crap: While I had my reservations about Peace, the second I saw EP's post after the challenge had been issued, I KNEW he had set it up. Tress had it completely on point- had I been here during all the calamity I def would have voted EP. I bet Snow is EP and Panda's third teammate that they had hinted about, and EP issued the challenge to protect him. Or else mebbe EP thought Snow might be a Javier town power role; either way Fatima scum, hint hint Snow might be a good target tonight.

As for Verb's death:  I still really feel like crap about my flub, and kinda feel responsible for his death. The silver lining for me is that he wasn't the Doc like I had guessed. Anyways, it was def a humbling experience for me, and one which many prob felt I needed.

Otherwise, what in the world is up with some people still acting so confused about the setup? Christine and JLM really stand out for this, especially Christine acting like she's supposed to be against any scum. Has she missed the BAZILLION messages from the mods saying that there are two teams in this game?!?! There are some others that are throwing out the same kind of bizarro posts. Get with the program people! (aaaaand right about now is when some think I might need another "humbling experience")

EP picked the middle of the day to call Peace out...

"HEY! I"M TALKING TO YOU!"

Everybody heard him, and all watched as the circle formed and the two squared off.

Both men exhibited unique fighting styles.

EP jumped up and down, lunging and making odd noises.

Peace spoke quickly, making points and arguments that other's found difficult to follow.

Both men kept it up until they were nearly tied with votes.

When news of Verbal's death made it's way through the crowd, and people realized that the vote count was now 15, all eyes turned to Peace. His time had come.

PEACESELLS, TOWN FATIMA and TRACKER, HAS LOST THE GLADIATOR CHALLENGE AND HAS BEEN LYNCHED.

EP did a quick victory shuffle and then moonwalked out of the makeshift ring.

IT IS NOW NIGHT 2. YOU HAVE 24 HOURS TO SEND IN YOUR NIGHT ACTIONS. THERE AR ENO MORE RESTRICTIONS ON WHOME YOIU MAY USE THEM UPON.

I saw Whome and for a sec I was like "Whome is in this game?"

Man I have no idea what is going on with my text stuff. As I was saying, We are playing a game based on the idea of four seperate teams, paired into an unknown variable and a known variable link. This separation is defined by the games starting as a split and us knowing what teams were in each split. It took me a while to figure out the duality of needing to both protect our mafia team and to get the other but because of that we are safer playing with players on our side right? The simple answer is yes, but that path holds little reward as we can't rely on each other.

When the lynch train was forced into two people that changed the variables. I placed my initial vote before understanding this but when you view the vote patterns you will notice something if you rhave really considered how the factions affect the game. The mafia needs to manipulate their own, correct? Technically they need to manipulate everyone but mostly they need to not be killed by their people and they need to kill everyone else. However because we started in separate threads and we know the factions that were in each they must remain town in appearances. My line of thought was to view the voting patterns and as you will see, they are not even. Close, but not close enough. Furthermore as I said there were a lot of people not voting. That is because the switch in who we were allowed to vote for changed the way the game was played for the day and those not expecting it couldn't react as well. When you really thing about it, the events and way people reacted to them didn't add up. I don't mind the result but I think we got played hardcore on this.

We shall see oh humbled one, we shall see.

Also it's interesting that I only counted 15 votes including the one double vote that was assumed to be on there, the hammer was never cast in thread. It's safe to say there are multiple double voters out there. Take that how you will.

No. We are playing a game with 2 separate teams, consisting of 2 tiers of members. Mafia, which I'm assuming can talk to each other and conspire ... and town, who has allegiance to the same team as their corresponding mafia, but does not have insight into who they are.

Not sure why you'd insinuate otherwise. I also don't like that you are acting like you came away from the gladiator challenge with any more information that the rest of us.

Here are the safe assumptions we should all be making at this point. Some players probably vote against their own team, others didn't vote to stay under the radar, and others voted in a manner that would help them create wifom about which team they belong to. Pretty sure there wasn't much of anything else to take away from it.

With 29 players, it takes 15 to lynch.

Christine thinks Nickelback is evil. This makes me sad.
Nickelback is a travesty against all things artistic.

Oh hush. You're an ape. Since when do apes listen to music, anyway?

That, and they aren't interesting enough to be evil.
