I have to leave work and will be back online tomorrow morning. If you've got any other questions as to my behaviour, I won't be able to answer them for the next 16-something hours.

I'm a little out of my element right now with the sheer number of games going on at the same time. What I'm seeing right now is all based on the edit that Thorum did. Which I believe is scummy - especially cuz he voted right after the edit. Would like to hear from him before I vote.

I already apologized, and put everything on the table that was edited away. Which will hopefully be confirmed by Andrew as soon as he's back online.

 

His earlier accusations I dismissed earlier, and that post I've requoted as well.

Thing is Thorum, you were already pinging me much earlier in the game. Now that we've taken out a bunch of the mafia team, we prob won't find extremely strong cases on the ones left, it'll be more of a gut feeling type thing. And my gut tells me you're scum.

This day, I've been having a really bad "scumdar", but Thorum's "overreaction" and then flailing is as good a bet as any at the moment. Vote Thorum

 

To the editing: I originally referred to my earlier post, where I explained why your reasons to vote me first are invalid (that's what "rebunked" means, imo).

Which I edited away immediately after, because I assume you read the topic.

 

You've got about as much reason voting me than vice versa. Your reaction to my laugh vote looks scummy to me, and I don't really have a feeling against anyone else (except maybe bg), so it'll stay there.

The quote linked to earlier (at the time only with the post number). I'm quite sure Andrew can confirm this is all that was edited away.

 

Well, I'm definitely not mafia, which means you are.

Ping Number One: He immediately dismisses it and attempts to be funny.

 

Someone claims a stupid role to claim, and in one breath proclaims me mafia. Am I allowed to immediately dismiss it?

 

And then there's all these. He very noticeably ignores the list, and tries his best to get everyone ELSE to ignore the list as well, right off the bat, while throwing as much suspicion on Arez as possible. Not that Arez made it hard, but the list shouldn't have just been dismissed as Thorum did it here. Everyone else seems to be giving it serious thought, but not Throum, and he'd like everyone else to ignore it at well.

Unless I missed some, before this post only 2 persons mentioned the names in that list. Including me, as a question on what to do with it. Atm, I agree with others who've said it'd probably be best to ignore it.

As for the reason to edit: because this is b******t. Neither of us (Andrew nor me) has any decent reason to suspect the other.

We should try to get mafia, not keep on punching the same silly nail.

Maybe, but I don't see any reason not to. Andrew seems fairly confident. I like Andrew. Thorum deleted a potentially incriminating post and OMGUS'd Andrew. Seems fairly simple. So... I ask... why not?

Yeah, I think I trust Andrew. Alannalynn voted songstress, and songstress told me about how Andrew built a good case on David. I looked it up, and indeed he did have a post where he built a case against David. Thorum is probably the best suspect we have right now. Reply #934 has some of what Thorum said, and I think there might be something suspect in there. Mostly a gut feeling, but still. Vote Thorum .

It jumped out at me too, Hoofy.

 

BG's play this game has struck me as cautious and non-committal. That in combination with the "town is the property, mafia are the pieces" thing has me very uneasy with him.

 

And the fact that Darthe tried to vet him as town by saying he was a weak doc who had protected BG N3 -- well, if town had actually bought Darthe's claim, it would have made BG untouchable. BG's interplay with Darthe during that whole thing struck me as a possible gambit, just in case we didn't buy the claim and lynched him anyway.

 

Nightstrike is also pinging me a bit, but I'm going to go with my gut feeling on this one.

About as opportunistic as it takes to lynch scum when a decent reason had been established. Tell me... why would you not vote Thorum?

How many people have edited posts in games and not been lynched? Is that why you are voting him or is there more to it? I'll wait til Andrew gets back to counter Thorums claim on what he really posted. If Andrew says he lied..then I'll be all over the vote.

Those quotes he said he edited out might have been there yes. The only time I saw the unedited version of the post however was when there WERE no quotes- just a post number he referenced while responding to me. There were also some of his own words that he edited out as well, leaving nothing but those rolling eyes and an 'Ok'. I couldn't remember what the post read exactly right after he edited it all out, and I definitely can't remember /now/, when my head is pounding like this. The only part I remember right is that he claimed to have adequately countered my original reasons for voting him. Which he didn't as far as I'm concerned.

 

And anyway, he's given us more reason to lynch him since then. *shrug* He'd definitely been overreacting.

 

Annnnnnnd this is my second attempt to post. DM kinda crapped out on me for a minute.

So the edit wasn't a big deal. I get why Andrew is voting. But what I don't get is the opportunistic vote from BG?

 

Read #918 to #929.

 

Tell me there isn't a good reason to vote there. Mainly from Andrew's mouth, but still.
