She seems to be commenting on a lot of things after the fact and I don't like how she turned attention to Basel

I haven't been following along as closely as I should have but I didn't notice any "weirdness"

 

Also I noticed that I never actually unvoted Iza I think despite Razen taking my vote off

I still think that is the best place to look after Red flipped scum and the late hammer with no explanation

also don't like how Peace is now pushing on the inactive Song which well net us NO INFORMATION

Well if she flips scum what more information do you need? If she is scum she is scum. Activity level doesn't change that and she hasn't asked for a replacement. I'm not inclined to let her coast on lurker mode.

 

Anyway just finished my gy shift and heading to bed. See you guys in 8 hours or so.

She probably hasn't asked for a replacement......because she's inactive

I agree on not letting a lurker slip by but I think I have something slightly more substantial than that

it's not much and I wont pretend it is but to me it's something

lynching lurkers is always the last fallback for me

After Goofy's revelation, the petitioners had no idea what to do. Some suggested Song was guilty by how she was associated with Red, others said Basel. Back and forth they argued. Even the input of one who had slept through the discussion wasn't enough to convince them to reach a decision. Day was ticking down and the deadline to choose was growing closer. Goofy reminded them of their task, but it still wasn't enough. They couldn't reach a decision in time.

 

Upset with the revelation, King Mickey called Goofy over to his throne. "One of them must be tested. I have to be fair about it - they couldn't decide, so go in there with a blindfold and have them rearrange themselves or something so you don't know who's where and pick one of them. That is who we'll test," he whispered. Goofy nodded and proceeded to put the blindfold around his eyes.

 

Returning a short time later, Goofy (clumsy as he was) couldn't manage to find his way into the room with a blindfold on. Donald had to get up and lead the man to the door, and proceeded with the proclamation. All the petitioners stood up and began moving away from the door. After a short time, Goofy began to stumble around in the room.

 

"Do not move. The first person he touches will come with me before the King," Donald announced. The tension was palpable as Goofy stumbled around in the room, seemingly moving in a circle. But that circle started meandering closer and closer to where the waiting people were standing, until one unlucky person was finally touched by Goofy. Goofy tore the blindfold off and saw Darthe for the first time.

 

"Come with us, Darthe - you've been chosen." Donald said. Darthe looked to the others and sighed. Mickey and Donald led him before the King. The rest filed out to watch the proceedings. Once Darthe was presented to the king, Donald began uttering the truth spell that would shed light on Darthe's motivations for appearing here. But before it could be completed, a large black bolt came firing from out of nowhere and struck Darthe, killing the man instantly.

 

"Donald, can you get anything from him?" King Mickey asked.

 

"The spell doesn't work on the dead - only the living. I'm sorry, King Mickey, but I can't." Donald replied.

 

"This is terrible. He could have been anyone - and there's no way to figure out where he came from or who his family is. Take his body and prepare it for a state funeral. I am responsible for this poor man's death no matter how you look at it. May you rest in peace, Darthe. I hope that you can forgive me," King Mickey announced. The other petitioners were in shock at seeing this death happen right before their eyes. It looked so random, so chaotic. But it did nothing to ease their fears. Only heightened tensions even more.

 

Darthe has been killed.

 

It is now Night 2. All night actions must be received by 12:30 pm CDT (Minneapolis time) on Thursday, July 19th, or they shall be forfeit.

Grrr... the deadline came right during morning cross country practice. I would have jumped on Basel's train just to get SOME info. I will pay more attention to when those darn things are from now on.

I don't like how we were so close to the deadline and you tried to start a completely different lynch. Also, I comment on things when I have the time to catch up on the game. I also stated where I saw weirdness, if you didn't see that, fine. He's the one that seems the scummiest to me thus far.

Possible slip here in favor of majority vote on anyone but mafia. Random can hit mafia too, after all.

This is highly scummy-- instead of consolidating, you go for an unvote and then don't vote for anyone else. Do you not care with the deadline so close at the time?

I'm not sure yet. I'm wondering if the mafia would decide the odds are in their favor and go for the random no info, or worry that one of them would be caught up in it, with no info. If I had my choice, I'd push for random, if I were mafia. *is talking herself through it* So, Nolder is curious... but then he actually tries to bring a case on Heart. If Basel were town and Heart were town, what would be the difference, ya know?

I don't see how saying someone feels town and trying to find a scumster to lynch instead is scummy at any point in the day. If people didn't want to consolidate, they wouldn't. I do not see where we could have avoided a random anyways without more activity.

Why are you defending Nolder? Even if Song or Basel would have turned up vanilla like they said, we would at least have gotten some info from their deaths. Voting someone that hadn´t any votes are scummy. For all we know Darthe might be the cop.

I'm defending the idea of proper scum hunting versus being quiet and letting us go to random. Especially since, at the time, I didn't understand why votes were holding on Basel and I had no idea why.
