And how exactly do we get people to reveal without accidentally bringing out the healer or cop into the open? Voluntarily? Not to mention all the fake claims and sorting out who from who would take days leaving the mafia the chance to pick them off one by one. That idea has huge potential of smacking us on our ass.

 

It seems that roles are quite distinct from characters. Alignments seem to be tied to character names, not roles. As long as we enforce a rule of not talking about roles, it'll be fine.

Last time I checked, mafia know who their team members are and therefore would be reluctant to vote him. i spotted several players who avoided his lynch for quite some time.

If you are gonna make an accusation, make it accurate. Yes, I am one of those who was reluctant to vote EP and I also was one of those who felt your actions were that of hopping on a bandwagon when convenient. Had EP flipped town, you would have sided with a proven liar. I never blindly go with a bandwagon lynch until it becomes clear that its the best for the town. You voted EP well before there was sufficient evidence to convict.

 

Why is it that when we successfully lynch a scum, we ignore the tangible information available to us from that lynch? Mafia 101. EP flipped scum, who fought his lynch.

This is exactly why Ithi and I have gone round and round. She has a hard time believing that others may have thought she was lying as a gambit of some kind. She never even considered it even though there was no way for anyone to be certain she was telling the truth IF they were town.

 

And to compound matters she refused to answer simple questions that would have given more clarity.

Your "reveal" is not as significant as the fact that EP indeed flipped scum. You could still be lying even now, this is mafia after all. The most important factor is that EP flipped scum and we have those who jumped on at the last minute and those who never jumped on at all. I hammered EP because I didn't buy his Marcus, claim not because you "revealed" anything.

And I pretty much voted EP cause I weighed the consequences of me being wrong about Ithi. He claimed vanilla..therefore he was the one to lynch no matter how scummy Ithi was behaving.
