Was it Peace saying he is Vanilla? If that is the case then he should tell us the rest and make the most of it.

 

Sak has pretty much tied my hands and I've pushed it enough as is. She says I can not give my name...which is pretty much my role cause she didn't get me a role name..just a description. She also stated I can't give that description.

 

If we have an extra reveal at a later day I'll throw it in at that time as to not waste one.

He learns that most Black Mages "stop" after one year, equivalent to death in humans.^[4] A conversation with the Black Mage leader suggests that Vivi was the black mage prototype built to "last longer." ^[5] Vivi's history prior to traveling to Alexandria was he fell out of a cargo ship, and a Qu, Quina's race, adopts him. Vivi refers to him as his grandpa. They lived in a cave near Treno. However, Vivi's grandfather eventually died. Probably prompting Vivi to leave his home and travel to Alexandria."

So, only character names count as reveals? Roles (ie. vanilla town, cop, whatever) can be revealed as and when we wish?

 

 

^ If so, it seems that character names are directly related to alignments, but not roles. It also seems that scum do not have strong fake-claims provided to them by the mod so that they can tough out a mass-claim. I suggest, then, that three people claim per day. It won't tell the mafia about town's roles, and it will place them in a tricky spot.

 

Otherwise, people should keep quiet about what their actual roles are. Even claiming vanilla town is too much, since it tells the mafia not to nightkill you.

Stop gaming the system! The intent was to prevent mass claims. We use the 3 provided in case of lynches or need to reveal important info. Leave it be.

Perhaps we can save one of the reveals for the lynch, and get two more people per day to reveal. Over time it will add up, and put the mafia in a pickle.

And how exactly do we get people to reveal without accidentally bringing out the healer or cop into the open? Voluntarily? Not to mention all the fake claims and sorting out who from who would take days leaving the mafia the chance to pick them off one by one. That idea has huge potential of smacking us on our ass.

You seem to be very anti-reveal Tink, any reason why? It's a tool that's been allowed to us, to not use it only helps scum. We've already seen that scum don't have a very strong supply of fake claims available to them. EP was a self-proclaimed "FF Expert" and the best he could come up with was Marcus. I certainly don't have a desire to game the mod, nor do I want to see Kae's game wrecked, but she made the reveals available to us and I say we use them.

 

As far as bringing the cop or doc to the fore, there really isn't any main FF hero that has a cop flavor, and far too many that could be classified as a doc. Merely stating your character shouldn't out your role, there's too much WIFOM in the flavor to nail anything down for certain.
