No final words. Last time I let a scum say something before he died, he won the game. You know EXACTLY who I'm talking about.

Player (9) - Songstress, Tina, Kaylee, Darthe, Key, Lenlo, Iron, Kae, Ishy

16 Alive, 9 to Lynch

That's a lynch.

Player - Former Asian Triad turned Mafia Symp has been lynched.

You know what this proves? When a gang/mafia/triad/whatever-you-call-it is disbanded, the remaining members become symps for other teams. Which means the remaining teams have a chance at recruiting and getting bigger. Which is bad for us.

The weird problem here is that Player's flip just listed him as a mafia traitor, without specifying a faction. So does the other traitor have no faction affilaition, and it's whatever group gets to them first? Up till the flip, I had been thinking that the remaining Triads were converted to pure town, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

From Mafiascum.net....

Lovers are players who are linked to each other. If one Lover dies, the Lover(s) linked to it die simultaneously.

Lovers have been known to be of any alignment. It is not at all implausible to have Lovers in Town-scum pairs.

In the past, these have been called Siblings, though that term now has a different meaning.

Lovers are frequently used for balance purposes in Open Setups, and are featured in Polygamist.

Variations

Lovers can have a number of unannounced additions to the above definition, such as the ability to talk to each other or confirmation of each others' alignment (but usually only if they are both Town).

Use and Power

Lovers are primarily used to either force players to work together or to hasten a powerful role's death. For instance, a scumgroup in a small game may be comprised of Lovers in order to prevent them frombussing each other, or a Cop may be a Lover to another player in order to increase the chance of them dying early enough that they cannot break the game.

A rough guess is that a Lover is worth two-thirds as much as an ordinary player.

1. If Mynd was a lover with Iron.. as they both said.. then its obvious its not that sort of lovers and

2. All of you who said that auto clears Iron are alarming me. Have you never played a game where lovers are 1 mafia/1 town? It doesn't prove anything about Iron except that he was a lover of Mynd. If Mynd's death had said masons then I'd see your point.

I was wondering if there was some variation of lover where they didn't both die. I've only seen that role 2 or 3 times.

How is it that Marsh didn't die? Was he not really the other one? If so who was the other one? BG and the coroner report just didn't say lover?
