A strangled cry bursts through the night at the same time...

The sun never went down, and the moon prevented from rising. The dirty half light that they give off fills the town with an eerie glow, and many can't help but wish that there was a Machinist or a Chemist left to fix these things. Then, a person blurts out...

"Lily! She was the last Glass Maker!"

Your heart sinks, because you know what the Glass Makers are in charge of protecting...

The last three stared each other down, a villain among them for certain, but which one of them was it?

 

It came down to the Ninja in the end. Her sword had not faltered during the events that led up to this final decision, nor did it falter now.

 

"You, sir, are the last of the mafia. Death to you."

 

Her sword whisks out of its sheath one last time, a guard against Sensei moving while Ishy places the noose around his neck.

 

In a fitting tribute to the guilds that had fallen, ishy tosses the free end of the rope into the gears that hoist the sun and moon, and pulls a lever to feed them with power.

 

Sensei is heaved off of his feet, and you expect to hear choking. Instead, bolts of electricity erupt through his neck and head, shooting through the limbs of his artificial body.

 

SENSEI, TOWN VIG TURNED AUTOMATON, AND THE LAST MEMBER OF THE MAFIA, HAS BEEN KILLED.

 

The gears freeze in place, just as you knew they would with no Machinist, Chemist, or Glassmaker to maintain them.

 

*the destruction of the Glass Makers would have frozen the last cycle in place, meaning today's lynch would have begun another day. But that doesn't matter anymore.

 

"Well, it looks as if the extra daylight will help us. We've a lot to clean up and put back to rights."

 

Ishy nods.

 

"True, but others will arrive, and with the Dark Monocle gone, we can rebuild bigger and better than we ever were.

 

Meesh nods, sheathing her blade. Ishy looks at her, "And it must be a relief to know that you won't need your blade anymore!"

 

Meesh takes on a faraway stare, "Oh, I don't know. I think I will keep it close anyway. You never know who else is out there...

1. Mafia Villain “The Dark Monocle”– Verbal – You are a Godfather. You are immune to all Nightkills (you may only be killed by lynch. You may convert 1 player per Day into an “Automaton“ (robot). You have a symp.

The Automatons will form their own mafia team – they will not win with you. They do not know who you are. You may choose 1 per night to control their vote on the following day. They will not be able to use any power that they have during this day.

 

2. Mafia Henchman – Pale Merlot – You are a Godfather. You are immune to all nightkills except from the Hero. You have 1 nightkill per night. You have a symp.

3. Mafia Symp – Thief – Piano – Steal a power to use the next night. You know the mafia players, they don’t know you.

 

4. Hero – Meesh – Ninja. You have 1 nightkill per night. This kill will go through even if the player is protected by a Doc. You are undetectable to any findings or powers. Should anyone attempt an action on you, that action will “fail”. You have access to all guild QT’s. You must find and kill the mafia.

Day ends early, as planned, triggered by Verb’s action (and pushed along a little). The balance is as follows: Town gives up the information learned from a lynch to go to night and begin forming QT’s. This is also an effort to cut down on a D1 lag and to move the game into full play.
