Yeah, at the beginning of my post I had something like "No doubt it follows the logic of the post to focus on Verbal," but I couldn't make it work grammatically in one sentence with the rest of my thought, plus I couldn't figure out a good way to say what I meant anyway. Plus I didn't think about maybe trying two separate sentences. (my brain is totally dead) So I deleted it. But yes, I know that you're apparently focusing on Verbal because of the trains and whatnot.

 

And it's a thought, not a try. What am I trying?

 

Also, you didn't say why you're voting Verbal over Wombat, although you did say why you're not voting Nolder.

 

Unless Wombat was in your well-thought-out-yet-ultimately-useless case on Day 1. I don't remember. I still haven't gone back to take notes. XD

It was between Wombat and Verbal while waiting to see if Nolder says anything that might stave off his lynch. I decided on Verbal because of his reasoning behind voting for Songstress. I found his reasoning more suspect than that of Wombat. Nothing more, nothing less.

You were influencing train momentum. I bumped the posts that led me to this point of view. It's all there. I didn't just put you in my list randomly. It's all explained in my flurry of posts while catching up.

 

 

I'm assuming editing is allowed? Anyway, this is my edit: In other words, its not FOS based on you always being smarmy in the things you say - its FOS based on you nudging things, subtly, that in hindsight were anti-town.

You say that as though it is not commonplace at this stage of the game to look at coroner reports, specifically those of the dead townies, then look back at the key influencers on their trains. You my dead, are guilty of soft-pushing trains. I've seen you do this before, you were scum then, and CTM was scum with you and had to swoop in and try to save you from me.

You call it soft-pushing. I call it being subtle rather than agressive. Same thing and I've already said I'm trying to work on it. At the time, I would have gone either Basel or Des. Obviously, we now know both were wrong, but I didn't know that at the time. And I do it every game, so the first time you made a big deal of it I was scum. Let's not forget the four times after that you pushed it and I wasn't.

This post troubles me a lot. Nolder is trying to avoid responsibility for his vote and possibly line up lynches in advance almost as if he knows Des will flip innocent.

Nolder's philosophy on how to play town is that you "make a case and then push it to get people to vote for the person you case".

Nolder is acting weirder than he usually does. I love that he tells Basel to defend himself in one post and then move on casing. So far from what Nolder does.

He also says that he has never heard of cultmafia. Remember Alanna´s Aiel vs Seanchan game where we were cult that recruited and killed people?

1. I really have never heard the term cultafia before this game

2. as a matter of fact I do not, I mean I remember that it happened but I have no memory of the game itself

3. I was a cult leader that could also kill in Amadine's game recently, is that the same thing as a cultafia? I thought it was just mafia that could recruit not cult that could kill

 

I don´t like that he voted Des while saying it would be Wombat´s fault if Des died. I´m happy to put some more pressure on Nolder. I look forward to his one and only defence post.

I´m a bit worried about Kae and JLM because of their silence. Not Bob and Crusher haven´t contributed much. (The same goes for me too, I know.)

I don´t know what to think about Ithi. She has made definite statements on her townieness that a lie detector could check. If we have a lie detector that is.

I already said it was subtle in a previous post, the one where I bumped your quotes. You aren't reading. The line about "four times" is an exaggeration, and not in the spirit of the game. You expect people to go to JN and look up past games to see is you are exaggerating? No. Which means you can get away with it as a means of writing my comments off. Petty and scummy comment.

Nolder talks about "not converted to the mafia" as though its an absolute that there is one.

The comment about being Cop but being stripped of the ability doesn't sit well with me. I'll admit that in a DPR game pretty much anything is possible, but why not just claim vanilla and be done with it? What was the point of revealing that you used to be the cop? And why is it that you are unsure whether you are stripped or roleblocked? Was the PM unclear on what happened. Cause that's a pretty big difference and I, for one, would feel better if it was stripped rather than blocked. At least then there would be some hope of another townie using the ability.
