I do actually think GF's vote was more scummy than BG's, although hindsight DOES make everything look different, true. BG tipped the scale to a Thorum lynch, and Thorum turned out to be town, but the deadline was coming up and there actually was something of a compelling case on Thorum, all things considered. BG's post above doesn't set off any alarms for me, so for right now, I'm looking elsewhere.

 

GF, though, showed up out of the blue, voted Thorum in 2nd place, slipped away again...it wouldn't have been a very helpful vote, honestly, except that other people agreed that Thorum looked scummy and the lynch swung his direction. So I feel like either GF wasn't paying too much attention and just threw a vote out there to say he'd voted (or was given the suggestion of voting Thorum for the same purpose), or else he'd been following along, thought Thorum looked like a possible lynch candidate, and voted, then went back to laying low to see what happened.

 

Since he officially only has one vote on him, let me apply a second one, for pressure--not the most informative lynch candidate but we have time to pressure people to contribute more.

While I'd like to hear from GF, I don't like how we are pushing for an inactive to be lynched. Inactives yield no information when lynched and in the off chance that they are scum, they still do not give us any info on who else is with them. Fellow scum will often sacrifice an inactive teammate to give themselves a pardon in the eyes of the town. Plus, when it comes to night actions and the like, I'd rather have an inactive mafia than a very active one.

 

Also, consider that most scum players are at least slightly more active because they have more at stake and fellow teammates to bug them. I don't think GF would have been this inactive if he was on a scum team, especially with the likes of most of the other players in this game.

 

Bottom line: I don't like this push on an inactive. It reeks of a scum distraction and further enhances my belief that BG is scum.

There is a difference between pressuring someone for their scummy behavior and going after an inactive who isn't around to defend himself. Besides, if GF was mafia, his team would be nudging him to respond by now and defending him in the thread.

I didn't want to mention why I was upset this week because even mentioning it made me cry, and crying for four days straight has made me incredibly physically exhausted, so I might sleep more. Honestly, though, I do support the BG lynch. His activity yesterday really didn't sit well with me and his response seems oddly dodgy (from what I read of it through my half-asleep daze). The GF lynch is a little out of nowhere; is GF even present at the moment, or just a normally inactive player most of the time?

 

The only thing bothering me the most, though, is Mynd's sudden switch in behavior after Thorum's town flip. I guess maybe I'm overthinking that, though, but the way he and Meesh are reacting to each other is a pretty legitimate thing to keep an eye on for the future, I think.

Well, I'll go vote BG. This isn't a lynch yet, and should move us to getting more information this time. I wouldn't call myself inactive necessarily, I've seen what's happened. Sooner or later we should latch onto the skum, though sooner obviously the better.
