Would prefer a Levity lynch but that seems to have lost traction. I have no read on Maw and a slight scum read on Nolder.

unvote

Vote: Nolder

though it's arguable that if I have such a "blah attitude" I'll be more of a hindrance to town than anything

I can only say that you'll have much more of my attention come day 2

if that isn't good enough for you then you're welcome to lynch me I guess

is the underlined a threat Nol? i have nothing to hide so why not give me that attention now? anything you can make a case on will be said today, so i don't see why you have to hold out.

in fact, one would almost think you want to get lynched. are you a Jester Nol? is that why your taking my case against you without arguement?? if so, i have no problem getting you out of the way now so you can't do any damage later on when its crunch time inthis game.

also if we dont get a majority people, a person will get lynched at randon by meesh. so we need to sort out some kinda majority before then.

can't stress this point enough people!! we have a little less than 2 hours to the deadline, if we want an informative lynch we need to consolodate.

Ok, really quick before more speed studying (this will not be my best work and will be a rushed decision)

1. Amadine

2. Mawth

3. Heart the Sparkly!

4. Nolder

5. Boyo

6. Loki

7. Locke

8. ElliRed

9. BG

10. Levity

11. Paperblade

12. Wombat

Ok, Levity did seem to really react a bit more than neccisary, but I have a bad feeling about the train that built on her.

also it's kind of hard to have activity when half the people in the game aren't voting

guess I'll bandwagon just to get day over with

sorry Levity, maybe another game

Unvote: Aiel Heart

Vote: Levity

interesting

I dunno. I can see both levity and loki's sides. Levity dislikes a train forming on her for no apparent reason and Loki wants the game to get moving and has nothing better to do with his vote . For that matter, neither do I. UNVOTE VOTE LEVITY

I just did a re-read and this is the post that has pinging me the most in the game so far. Maw attempts to stay distanced but takes the opportunistic easy vote anyway.

UNVOTE

VOTE MAW

also a good point

I think it’s “scummier” though “more scummy” sounds better

pitt=nolder??? mmk. he’s cyndaquil to me :)P

and cyndaquil appears to be distracted by a cloud in this battle....

yeah I guess

normally I'd put more effort into scumhunting but I just don't have it in me for this game

at least not on day 1

This pings, but I’m not extremely attached to this game yet either. Watching you <.<

Uuuuuuuuhhhhh..... Red? Why did that ping? I was talking about my joke vote of the three people who might have killed me in the Heroes vs. Villians game and then voting Mawth also as a joke. I was specifying that any real votes I make I’d only make one at a time instead of 4 all at once. How is that aloof?

I really don’t know who to vote for at this point. I guess to avoid a random lynch though Vote Nol

Sorry Cyndaquil. At least this is one less Mafia game for you to worry about!!! Now go get those dino buggers for me, k? ;)

Sorry... Forgot about Locke and had to list him too!!! Silly no edit rule ;P

Serious voting I only vote one at a time, so all shall be good once D1 silliness is done :D

the underlined is what pings. at the time it gave the feeling that you weren't taking D1 seriously, but it maybe how i'm interpreting it.

Mmkay....deadline falls in just over 15 minutes.... I'm grabbing food and then I'll be writing flavor (nothing like the first post, no worries ) so if the results don't show up right away, no worries, they're on their way.

It was still the joke vote session at that time. There's always silliness at the beginning of the game so I suppose "beginning of game silliness" would have been better phrasing but that's just very long :P

The fear is palpable. It takes everyone differently, you can see. It's funny, the things you learn about people when you see them in an uncomfortable situation. These people you've known your whole life, they're strangers now. Like you don't know them at all.

Some people are paralyzed by their fear, hesitating to join in and standing pale-faced by themselves. You wonder if that's an act, and then you curse yourself for such suspicion. Haven't they reason enough to be afraid?

Other people grow angry. Accusations are flying through the air, heated words being exchanged, and people you once thought of as pleasant look positively frightening in this sunlight. What has changed? Nothing, but the fear. Maybe they're afraid of being discovered, so they point fingers elsewhere to keep from being placed under scrutiny.... Again, you curse yourself for the thought. You're just as afraid as they are, and you want the murderers gone, too.

Most people are apathetic about the hunt for the murderers. They chime in occasionally, but they don't seem very certain or convinced of what to do. You can't blame them, although you wonder if maybe they just don't care about what happens to Holdswell.... No. You can't believe that. Not them. You've known them forever...they can't be murderers....

You know you shouldn't be reining in your suspicions so much, because it's obvious that you can't trust as many people as you think, but it's such a foreign concept that you have a hard time embracing it.

As the day progresses, people start to find a rhythm to what they're doing, and you begin to feel a little more comfortable with your role in helping find the culprits, but no one, including yourself, seems willing to take that last step and actually commit to hanging one person.

Samuel, sitting on his bench, harrumphs and glares and looks meaningfully at the sky, but he goes ignored, for the most part.

As the sun sinks into the horizon, he stands up and stomps angrily to the front of the crowd again.

“This just won't do,” he declares. “The sun is setting, and night is nearly upon us. We must head to our beds, and what have we to show for today? Absolutely nothing,” he spits, and everyone looks away abashedly. You avoid Samuel's eyes; you know you haven't been trying very hard yourself.

Samuel waves to his assistants and points to a face in the crowd. They push through, and stop in front of a frazzled-looking woman with a child at her feet. Looking to Samuel for confirmation, they take her by the arms and pull her toward the gallows.

She screams the whole way, and you feel sick as you look at her child, crying as his mother's life is snuffed out.

Her husband picks up the child and walks home, not looking back. Samuel's assistants follow and ransack the house, turning up nothing suspicious.

“Go home,” Samuel says, tiredly. “Just...go home. We'll try again tomorrow.”

Wordlessly, you comply. Darkness is just what you need. Darkness, and release.

AMADINE, SIRAH (Housewife)--VANILLA VILLAGER has been randomly lynched.

It is now Night 1.

You have 48 hours to submit all Night Actions to me.

Deadline is 10:30 PM CST on December 14th.

Sorry Ama.

Go for the easy FoS on the guy who wouldn't hammer. I didn't have to say anything you know. What about the other folks who aren't on the Lynch that said nothing. It is not my civic duty to need to hammer on someone I don't have scummy feelings towards due to a deadline. Afterall, I might have died as easily. From the Random Gods. Also, had I hammered and he flipped town ya all woulda FoS ed me anyway.

Posted

Could have just been one of the ones who didn't say anything and been one of many. Instead you said something and set yourself apart.

Sorry I didn't get here guys... I thought that I had my puter fixed, but ended up having to basically format the hard drive, and I wasn't able to get here.. I would have changed my vote to avoid that random lynch. Sorry ama...

look i can understand that feeling but i have to disagree. if i have the chance, like you did, to prevent a random no info lynch from occuring, i'll hammer all day long even if i don't particularly agree with the lynch. because getting info is important, and if the random hits a lurker, well you can see the result of that here.

and AH brings up a good point; you had to know what the fall out of that statment would be BG; so unless this is the type of attention you were fishing for i don't see why your saying anythign about those of use calling you out for delibertly refusing to lynch when you had the chance.

i also fail to see the reasoning behind you sticking your neck out for Nol like that, because if Nol flips scum (and seeing how slow his wagon built that wouldn't surprise me) its not goign to look good for you at all.
