Well I know that that is what he said in his initial post. Otherwise I have only played in one game with him. I also know that people who are mafia typically do one of two things(in my experience): 1. Lay low/feign activity. 2. Super active throwing around suspicions in an attempt to divert suspicion from themselves.

 

Good mafia play normally as mafia. Ever seen Kivam play? Always looks pro-town to some degree.

In contradiction to what most people are doing, I am going to place my vote back on my "joke vote" person. Hoof. He said he wasn't going to be around much D1 because he gets into trouble. Yet he's been fairly active, just spamming granted, but still active. So one ping for saying out right he's going to lay low, and two pings for spamming instead meaningfully contributing.

 

I see what you mean, and I agree with it. However, I don't feel this is something I should vote for.

Not exactly. I presented two separate options. For it to have been a false dichotomy I would have had to say something along the lines of "If hoof is mafia then he will be inactive/spam. If he's not inactive/spamming then he's not mafia." The other option could be inserted as well. I didn't say that. I said that I've noticed that the two options I presented are the two most common tells of mafia that I know of. That doesn't mean that everyone that exhibits those signs are mafia just that they're signs.

Welp, I don't have much to add on the stuff not relating to me; I've noted Boyo's point about Hoof but I'm not really feeling that at the moment simply because right now I'm more focused on Tina, and now Sakaea.

I'm guessing you just mean that for whatever reason, you got a bad vibe from my posts? If there is anything solid you could provide, that would be great, because it helps people make smart decisions who to vote for, better than when everyone just says "I feel like so and so is scummy."

 

I'm trying to avoid sounding like I'm OMGUSing, but voting for me without really addressing my points relating to Tina, which I personally feel are pretty valid for how far into the game we are, does actually send up a big ping for me.

 

I've moved beyond trying to get the game going; I'm now actively scum-hunting. Don't discount what I'm saying as purely a way to provoke discussion.

While Mawthex found Soy's Blackhoof case to be compelling, I found it to be the opposite. I think it is stretching a case, and makes me more comfortable with my vote on Soy.
