Min flipping Cult Usurper means serious pressure and probably a lynch on Kivam is warranted. It's a very bad play to do what she did unless Kivam is town in which case it is brilliant. That being said, the risk that Kivam is CL is too much imo.

For Min to play like she did, she had to have known that while maybe it get's Kivam lynched it was a definite possibility she get's lynched. What good does it do to get the cult leader, to meet your victory conditions, if it gets you killed in the process?

Congrats to Wom and Tina on being ressed. That said, FOS at both of them. I'm going to assume that both good and evil (and maybe the cult too) have a res. Therefore, I think that it's a good bet that at least one person ressed each night is scum.

@kivam: The difference I see was that on tina, there was only one faction trying to res her. Two people tried to res Wom. I don't know how the winner was decided, but that doesn't really make either more or less scummy to me.

Wouldn't you, as Town, sacrifice yourself to stop the Cult? If there is no Cult left, she (he?) would just be a Vanilla. If I were Vanilla (I do not say I am not now), I would give my life to root out the Cult.

Cult usurper... I can definitely see how that might be damning evidence against Kivam, but I don't know that that's the case. It would have been a flimsy attempt at getting Kivam lynched, Min could have done a lot better if her win condition required his death.

 

I'm not arguing against a Kivam lynch, just trying to be fair-minded here. Just like the idea of "Min's faking a PR" didn't have enough weight for me to be certain there was a reason to lynch her, Min's attacks on Kivam isn't enough on its own to make me want to vote Kivam right off the bat.

 

(@Soy, Rule #14--so sue me for being wrong about Min; you can't pretend everyone KNEW she was cult, all you guys were lynching her for was to avoid 2 random modkills and because of her claims about Kivam, which didn't seem like a super-lynchworthy offense, honestly.)

 

Say whatever you like, I'm actually thinking Nolder would be a good way to go today. I don't buy this "I'm just realizing things that the Mod has implied or stated directly since the sign-up thread started" thing. It feels to me like he's playing dumb, trying to pretend total ignorance of anything but what he thinks a vanilla townie would know. I've been getting a vibe like that from him from close to the beginning of the game, but there wasn't much to go on at that point, and I think he's being over the top today in a way he wasn't really yesterday.

 

Also, if I'm way off-base and he's not scum or cult, then that clears up the whole "Meesh and Nol are on a team ()" thing. If I'm right and he is, well, we bagged a bad guy and we can't complain about that.

I can't think of the term off the top of my head, but basically I'm taking what you've said and then putting in quotation marks what I get from what you're saying. It's a little snarky-ish, but not as much as if I did this:

Alignments and Roles are also not revealed upon death, but they may be revealed at a later date depending on the Coroner. In this game, do not assume that the bad guys will always stay bad, or that good guys always stay good. Assume nothing about Ghosts, death changes people in ways that cannot be foretold, and many who have been resurrected are not the same people that they were in life.
