Please do not take anything I put in my scenes as confirmation or denial of anything a player has said. I don't put anything in my scenes that wouldn't be there regardless of alignment or truthfulness.

Nevermind then. BG's Mynd suspicions linger on.

I'm on the MafiaWiki right now, what exactly does a Mafia Neighbor do?

Let's make sure that this doesn't completely exonerate anyone else whose name begins with A, but I think there are some we can safely assume are innocent.

Still, Graendel is out there somewhere. I can feel it. I can smell her perfume....its called Compulsion.

Well, a regular Neighbor can send a message to someone each night, I think, so I assume a mafia neighbor does the same. Given that we were thinking that whoever was sending messages was like someone being in T'A'R, I'd say that's a safe assumption; Lanfear considered T'A'R 'her' realm.

I wasn't really suspicious of Quibby before, but this makes me even more certain of him now - I doubt there would be 2 mafia members sending messages. Unless there was another anti-town group.

Quibby and Krak 2.0, why were the two of you so desperately trying to sway us all off the Amadine lynch?

QFT, I let it drop while the wagon was forming, but those two tried to distract from Trench's bombshell FAST, as did Nyn, I think. FOS at all three (if I'm right about Nyn).

Are you referring to this?

Here again he reiterates that an Amadine lynch is an assured Mafia lynch. We still were unsure of a few names on the list. But Aust as a cop was able to narrow it down further. Again he further tips his hand as a finder. At first I thought his assertion that AJ was innocent was how he tipped his hand to the mafia. But durring this reread, these posts jumped out at me. Aust kept his vote on Amadine for the rest of the day, only switching it to Vambram in order to achive a majority.

Many people distracted and pushed the disscusion away from this topic. If we lynch Amadine today we will have more leads as to who to hunt next, by looking into the people who tried to divert this lynch.

I agree with trench's casing of Aust. We now know for a fact what his role was and I think it was an extremely good idea to study his choices. I feel more sure of an Amadine lynch, rather than a Mynd one at this moment.

So, I vote Amadine.

Also, I wanted to let you know that I'm sick so my activity might decrease a bit in the game. It's something I posted in various places on DM so just keep it in mind, please. If I see I can't go on I'll ask to be replaced, but I'll try and make the effort.

Also, on a sidenote, don't you get tired of the terrible TV at 1 am? bla.

Eh, I don't know... the idea of a man killing a woman so he can express his necrophiliac love towards her, and ultimately leading her to a successful life as an actress (with an audition and everything!!!) is just a bit too much... even for me :P

Nice lynch, and I would have been there...but you know how it is...rolleyes.gif

First time I've heard of a Mafia Neighbour... I wonder how that did work...?

So Drew says he's a miller. Bit of an odd things to claim.

I can see where you are coming from AJ, but you can end up waiting for people that just don't turn up, if they take too long to not even post, then it's their fault for not playing or being active, lol

(edit for conciseness.. ) Yeah, I was just explaining myself before someone got the high and mighty idea to say "you were online and you didn't vote for a MAFIA!!! You MUST be scum then! It happens. lol. rolleyes.gif

Book-wise, I'm having a hard time coming up with many people who would share a Mason-style link between three people. I can only come up with one, and I'm reluctant to share that because it could send us down the wrong path entirely.

Reading the rest of discussion about this one, I'm quite certain I know which three people you mean: Rand, Perrin and Mat. Though it COULD be Gawyn, Galad and Elayne or the Whitecloacks etc. I think nobody else has such relation as those three, and in the books they share special relation: when they think each others, they see one another. But I'm quite certain those three don't form mason team in this game, and one of the reasons for that is that I think we can safely assume that Key/Ahmoon is Rand :)

The game reads quite interesting when going back with the understanding that Amadine is scum.....

Day 3 (scum death)

Blackhoof (16): bg, quibby, red, trench, keyholder, locke, verbal, nae, adella, curtdragon, drew, amadine, alanna, ahmoondah, kwom

Mynd (1): Aemon

Vambram (1): Mynd

Again, for the record, I thought I had successfully voted Blackhoof and even acted as if I did until I was later told I did not. Regardless, we had plenty of votes to lynch him, especially with the double voter present. Take notice who voted for Blackhoof and where they are in the line....

If we first eliminate those who are now dead and rename those who have replaced earlier players, the Blackhoof lynch will now look like this:

Blackhoof (16): bg, quibby, red, trench, ahmoondah 2.0, locke, verbal, nae, adella, curtdragon, drew, amadine, alanna, ahmoondah, kwom

Now, let's highlight in blue those players that either were proven innocent or that are likely innocent based on information we have obtained...and highlight in red those we know to be scum.....

Blackhoof (16): bg, quibby, red, trench, ahmoondah 2.0, locke, verbal, nae, adella, curtdragon, drew, amadine, alanna, ahmoondah, kwom

Dollars to donuts that there is at least one more scum on that list, likely at the tail end. Being one of the first to be compulsed, one could argue that Verbal is likely innocent. If we are to use the same logic, then it is likely that Quibby is innocent as well. Note that Drew voted just before Amadine, who we now know to be scum.

quibby, verbal, nae, drew, alanna, kwom

That leaves us with Nae, Drew, Alanna, and Kwom Masbag. What are everyone's thoughts on these four?

BG had been suspicious of Alanna for a long time. Drew always seemed a little off too. His recent Miller claim makes BG a little hesitant to place a vote his way. Nae and Kwom were a large ? to BG.

BG didn't feel comfortable ruling out Quibby and Verbal based on compulsion, especially since they were near the beginning when a mafia ploy was most likely underway with it's use. After the first few days, it has basically been a useless power.

Is it smart to start narrowing down based on a list of people who WERE on a mafia lynch? I understand your reasoning, Mynd, but wouldn't it behoove us to first look at the people who were NOT on a mafia lynch? I also would not rule out anyone for being silenced or compulsed.

... generally mafia would want to look more town by being on a fellow mafia's lynch, or even going with the flow of the other town voters on a town lynch. If you stay off a bunch of lynches, you're gonna start to stick out.

Anyone who isn't on this list wanna chime in on Drew's post?

Already did... I'm not bothered.

Drew, if you're town, you should have nothing to worry about, don't you think?

BG liked Mynd's color coding and wanted to expand it to everyone. He didn't think the town needed to focus on everyone, but only intended this as a visual idea for everyone to use as a tool.

BG

AJ

Aemon

Ahmoondha2.0

Adella

Talya

If Mynd's opinions are to be trusted:

Ha, I'm not worried, I'm just asking a question. I understand that mafia would want to jump on the end of an obvious lynch, but look, we just had another mafia lynch. Maybe let's take all three mafia lynches, see if there are some names that are at the end of each, maybe not on one or two at all. I probably don't have time to do that tonight, but I will tomorrow.

And for those of you casting suspicion on my Miller claim, if I were scum, what would be the point of a Miller claim after Aemon found me innocent? Wouldn't it be smarter to stay hidden and let everyone think Aemon was a real finder?
