Who would you LOVE to turn out as a DF

The characters I would love to be DF is Thom, he is just such an awesome character and would make me love him even more if he has fooled us all.

 

Also Galad that guy is just TOO pure it would please me greatly to find out he is really a bad boy.

 

I also think Amys being a DF would be cool but not unexpected.

 

Maybe 1 of Rands girls being a DF could happy my vote would be Avi as Elayne wouldnt last very long with that big gob and Min is just too cool.

 

Last but by no means least Faile being a DF would be awesome, I hate her soooooooooooo much that finding out she is even more of a backstabbing B***H and hopefully *failed* in her orders a halfman will feed her to trollocs if not gut her himself!!!!!

Okay. Elayne isn't a Darkfriend, we've been inside her head for far too long now for her to successfully hide that.

Likewise, it would take some phenomenal mental acrobatics for Galad, Min, Aviendha or Thom to be a Darkfriend. For a similar reason, I think Bashere is unlikely, but it's possible.

Amys is, of course, a different story. So are the rest of the WO, including Sorilea.

 

My guess is that some of Mat's captains and maybe Perrin's friends (Gaul?) are Darkfriends. I'd say the same for Egwene, but she took care of that.

Herid Fel.  I know it won't happen, but what if the Dark One really can't break the Seals, so he got Fel to plant the idea with Rand and Min to break them, and then had Fel killed to make it look legit and important!  Then Rand breaks the Seals, thinking he has to in order to win, and MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Faile, because there are so many people that act as if not liking her is some sort of crime. Then if she did turn out to be a Darkfriend there would be those who used to defend her now acting like they hate her, which is funny I think, because that edges towards the "I like good guys and hate bad guys" frame of mind. I like some of the bad guys, and dont like some of the good; if someone entertains me, or is interesting then I like them whoever they are. Faile hasnt provided me with a single instance where I liked it when our attention was drawn to her. I dont care why she does what she does, I dont care about her personality. I do not read these books to find characters I want to be friends with, I read them for entertainment, and in that sense she has earned her name more times than I care to remember.

dont think faile would be, she gave up power to go adventuring DF's lust for power.

 

Berelain I could see being one because she is willing to do anyhting for more power, or to keep her current amount of power. If she was happy just having the land she has she would have gone home as soon as rand ensured her that mayene would have no more trouble from tear. Plus I think she has been really troublesome with perrin, and making his life harder would be good for the shadow since making his life harder until he breaks from the strain or does somethign stupid that could turn him would help the shadow win

Berelain and Rhuarc and some other Aiel that were in Cariehn when Berelain was in charge there. Remember when Rhuarc had a chat wuth her and her attitude changed. Could of been the shadow worried her behaviour with Perrin was going to get her shunted from her postion of power and influence on the light side

Its made pretty clear early on that everything Berelain does has not been for personal gain but for the protection Mayene from much larger neighbors...

 

Its a situation that is strikingly similar to Tylin's.

He inherited his standing. He is the most powerful of the High Lords with the most holdings, most men and most wealth. He kept his inheritance and noble station because no one dared cross him out of fear of the power he could wield. His intelligence or prowess were of lesser concern.

 

It's the same way you don't poke a retarded tiger with a stick. Because it can still mess your stuff up quite badly if it gets angry enough.
