Okie-dokie:

 

Pandy  - seems like he is really trying to play, he just isn't here much. His play-style has changed from when i played with him before, but I have to believe he'd be more careful about leaving his flank open if he were mafia.

 

Tigs - Could go either way. She does the earnest-innocent thing well, anddoesn't post enough to give us any tells, which may be a tell in and of itself.

 

Aemon - Really pinging me. Plays harball, the evaporates.

 

Barm - Doesn't strike me likehe's playing to win. He's more like "frustrated-bored-Barms" that may show up, or may not.

 

Danya - She's playing a classic Danya game. Could easily be mafia, or just as easily not. I would like to see her post much more.

 

Nae - I'm not getting an evil vibe off of her at all.

 

Alanna - Who's Alanna? JK - but she needs to post a whole lot more.

 

Quibby - Quibbs strikes me as a player that started the game with a plan - he was everywhere. He's also an encyclopedia on the theme, so he was either real excited toplay - or, he was working a plan ad had to fall back when it didn't turn out. He's fuzzing my radar something awful, though, andvery well might be my next vote.

Being someone who has played on DM doesn't make you any better or worse at the game than anyone else.

 

I used to play a version of mafia on a different forum, it was called something slightly different and involved townies and werewolves. Played that for over a decade(10+ yrs) so I am more seasoned than either of you. Does that make me better than you? No, I just play differently.

 

Being circumspect does not make you a better player if anything it makes you look like you are trying avoid any suspicion.

 

So far Alys has shown us nothing in her favor and quite a bit against her. Saying things that no one understands, and can't even explain those at all. Just hinting and what not.

 

Anyone that randomly votes on someone without any real reason, and then says "I'm inspecting someone else but you will do for now" is incredibly scummy no matter how you look at it.

 

Then you Nae, come along and jump on it was well, which makes you and her look like something you cooked up between the two of you. I mean really, none of you have any solid reasons at all, and if you do, lets hear them.  Otherwise you are basically inviting people to go "WTFX" and imploring your own OMGUS strategy.

 

I've also said before, my work blocks DM, I can get around the filter, but not only does it take time, I still have to do work while I do it. So instead I opted for reading and voting as I saw fit prior to this.(I've voted once for the record, today counting as twice) This game has been going for about 2 weeks, and one weekend almost no one posted anything.  I had nothing to go on. This is the first weekend I've had time (sick) to actually play and I am. I'm sorry I can't fit into your little bubble of acceptable playing style, but at least try to come up with something more than "because I said so" as a reason.

Dsworn - A non-event...so far.

 

Hybrid - Strikes me as playing a very careful game.

 

MCS - I don't buy his act at all. He is far too sharp a player to be doing what he is. I have him figured as the distraction portion of a plan.

 

Anox - I see her as distacted, but not playing untrue.

 

Varbal - another non-event. Which worries me...a lot.

 

Alys - I'm not getting an evil vibe from her. I'm 90% certain she's Town.

 

Lavinya - I believe her claim and think she's Town.

 

Pookie - Pook is a ringer for me. I need to see more of her for her to bother me less, but I'm not ready to put the FOS on her.

I never once said or implied I'm better because I've been playing longer.  To the contrary.  I think some of the newer players, Al for example, are incredibly talented at the game and are certainly better than me.  I said seasoned as in we have been playing on Dm a long time and therefore have reputations.. you hinted at that very thing with Alys.  Just because I agreed with her on you doesn't mean we are working together.  We'd be smart enough to space our posts quite a distance apart if we were working together not one right on top of the other.  You can't call my vote on you an OMGUS when you didn't even vote for me.  Your vote was on MCS for the same damned reason Kivam pointed you out.  That list of players was people who are incredibly inactive in the game and therefore at risk of being modkilled.  I was simply saying your vote made NO sense whatsoever because you said your reasons for voting MCS was because of his inactivity.  Alys and I both pointed out that YOUR inactivity level was the same if not worse than MCS's.  THAT'S what made it suspicious.  Inability to get on DM at work aside... tell me how that is a dumb reason to vote someone but YOUR reason.. because MCS did something YOU yourself are doing is an ok reason?

MCS unvoted me a while ago if you didn't notice, right after he did both Alys and you jumped on a combined band wagon with inactivity being your only reason as well.

 

By your logic both of you should be considered scummy since you used the same reason I used for MCS originally.

 

In all truth Alys has pinged my radar quite a bit. She tells half-truths and never actually says what shes means. That little tirade with DPR was just one of the times she does that. 

 

Nae you have finally at least answered some reasons but the same reason than MCS had.

 

that said, i will reiterate that i am working on another player who has more issues than you, so calm down.

 

Yet she keeps her vote on me regardless of saying she has other suspicions.  Yeah odd much.

 

My inactivity level has had everything to do with work, nothing more. If you can't see that, hence why I'm online during a SATURDAY, you might want to go back to when I did post and look at the dates and times. I think I got online once during the week and it was still on Day 1.

Anox, I think it's not so much that you voted for MCS for inactivity, but that they find it hypocritical for someone who's been inactive to vote for another inactive. What they can't see is that from the POV of someone who, in their mind, has a reason for being inactive, it doesn't seem hypocritical at all. I'm pretty certain that at least some of the inactive people (yes, I'm well aware I'm one of those people) are mafia.

 

Alys has also been on my radar, but I'm hesitant to vote for her because I'm not sure I actually suspect her. It's more that, because she's instigated a lot of this relic talk, her posts have been a big source of confusion for me...but that doesn't necessarily make her scummy, and I'm trying not to let that cloud my judgment. It makes sense to try and figure out what we can about the relics, since they could be dangerous to us, but I really think we should spend more time on finding scum. I feel like most of what I've read this week has been about the relics, and most of it has gone over my head anyway. It would be nice to compile a little list about what we know of the relics, if I ever have time to do that.

 

On the other hand, another thing that really distracted me was Alys going after DPR way back in the game, which I had almost forgotten about until Anox mentioned it just now. I, too, wasn't sure what the purpose was in being so mysterious about all that. However, I've never played with Alys before, so maybe she's always like that *shrug*

Again, and for hopefully the last time, I didn't vote for you for your activity level.  I voted for you because you voted for someone for their activity level when theirs is no higher than yours.  You did it to take suspicion off of yourself by throwing it on someone else who was inactive.

So when you decide to bandwagon even if it is only two it doesn't reflect good on you at all.

 

Alys has hit my radar more than most with the trying to confuse, and you are just helping my case against her Nae. Even with DPR's assessment.

 

She purposefully is trying to misdirect us and I can't figure out why, so maybe she can show up and explain herself a bit better.

I know nothing about Alys and wether or not she is innocent.  I'm also confused about all her posts with the relic stuff.  As Alanna said.. that's not enough to make me suspicious enough of her to vote.  It simply means I don't understand all of that.  Your jump into defensive mode and attacking my playstyles and not listening to what I'm saying is why my vote hasn't moved off of you.  I've been on your side of it and it IS frustrating.  But you won't convince me to take it off by attacking my playstyle and not listening to my reasons for voting you in the first place. :-*

Don't have a lot to add? Alright then. Let's see what color the letters of your role bleed. Lynching someone, ANYONE, and getting answers this early in the game is more constructive then what has been happening. Yammering on about who's suspicious and what not all day long? I don't want to still be playing this game a few months from now. Say that my words and actions look scummy, but when you think about it, so do everyone else's except yours. Save for your teammates, if you are in one, such as a mafia group, cult, or mason group.

He was quick to jump on me cause I posted that I had nothing else to add. (As in I didn't have a solid vote at the time)

 

I have since unvoted and voted for Alys, she is high suspicious and continues to be so. It took 25 pages of banter with DPR to get her to come out and speak plain.

Iagree with Nae here, an omgus vote this late in the game is very strange. Seems more like a desperate attempt to post something game-worthy than actually playing the game.

 

But then again, I think I could agree with her on some of her points on Alys. But I'm not gonnavote right now, I dont feel like I have any good reasons to vote anyone.

Okay, I know that I have been "inactive" but I have been keeping up with everything and reading.  I haven't had much to say because I don't think that my input is beneficial with everyone going on and on about stuff that I have no idea about. 

 

I don't like Anox's OMGUS vote but, what I like even less is Alys' talk of relics and yada yada.

 

I feel like her trying to keep us on the topic of relics is a ploy.  I also think that she toes the line a little too much with the relic talk and it makes me wonder if she is asking a lot of questions on a QT board.  I also think that the information she has given has been vague a lot. What I mean by vague is this...she says a lot of things, with a lot of explanations, with absolutely no clarity on what's really going on.  In other words....she talks a whole lot but doesn't say anything.

 

Once more, I think that all of her talking and explanations are a mafia tactic to keep us thinking about stuff that we really can't do anything about and to keep us not focusing on the things we should like mafia.

Also it is not hypocritical, MCS has been active elsewhere on the forum(s) and not in this thread, albeit less than usual.

 

You on the other hand constantly try to mislead and misrepresent with circular thinking and concentrating on relics instead of trying to find actual mafia members.

 

Do you dare care to explain all that around about talking back when you and DPR had a go round, I've yet to see a decent explanation and it took you 25 pages to speak plain. That is called a ploy and is probably about as scummy as I've seen yet.
