I say in games that I DON'T put 100 percent stock in finders.  I've been had by them more than once.  I do, however, believe that had Barm been actually claiming finder that voting you off would have given us a pretty good idea of his alignment in this game.  Add that to the fact that Alys, an innocent gossip person, told us there are no cults in the game... You weren't lynched and likely wasted your role on the gov. role thing.  Which, by the way, I agree doesn't make sense for an innocent not on a team to have.  There's no way you'd be able to tell who was innocent or not to stop a lynch on unless you were on a team with them.

 

I don't know why you are suddenly gunning for me in this game out of all the people who "bandwagoned" on you.  I did it because Kivam is right.  At this point in the game.. with two mafia down already.. it was a chance we could afford to take to prove or disprove Barm.  If you will note I didn't jump right on the vote for you as soon as Barm said you were scum.  I voted when someone, Alys I think,, said that the only other time Barm tried that was when he was finder and trying to hide that he was.

I have looked over the cases Far and Kivam have done on people and I hate to do this to my warder but a game is a game is a game and I don't "refuse" to vote someone simply on the bonding/good buddy factor.  [glow=red,2,300]Dae[/glow]'s  behavior has been slightly erratic and he disappeared after claiming he was catching up.  Haven't heard from him so I'm not totally up to date on what's going on irl but it's not like him to let stuff in the game upset him like that.

Like I said, I'm still suspicious of [glow=red,2,300]Dsworn[/glow]. I don't believe he's innocent, could be wrong but he's my best bet at the moment. I'm not going to OMGUS Tayla. I'll change my vote if need be. And I'll roleclaim if I need to but I'd really rather not.

I'll defend myself if I have to, but so far, Kivam's been doing a fairly good job of it, and one vote is hardly enough to make me jump to defend myself, darling.  :-*

If I were you, I'd look at Kivam's suspect list and save me for later. I'm not going anywhere, unless I'm nightkilled, and then, gee, you won't have to wonder anymore.

Pandy, considering how much content there is later in the thread, I would recommend saving your attacks until you have caught up to current.

The main reason is she was gunghoe to bandwagon on me just because Barm posted a picture and people speculated that it meant he was claiming finder. In every game she plays she says don't put stock in a finder 100%, and yet she jumped at any chance she could to join a bandwagon in progress.

 

This is very poor logic, Pete.  On any day two (never mind one with 2 scum dead already), if someone claims finder with a guilty, you vote for the target.  Hell, if anyone ever wants me dead in a game where I'm innocent, false claim finder on Day 2 and I'll go whistling to my grave - because when I flip innocent, I'll take your lying, scum behind down with me.  And a one for one trade on Day 2 is worth it.

 

The only exception to that is if the target is the doc or the actual finder; then, a one for one trade (doc/cop for scum) favors the scum. 

 

In other words, if you aren't the target, you vote for the target whether you trust the claimant or not - because either way, voting for the target will kill a scum (either the claimant told the truth, or the target is innocent and you lynch the claimant the next day)

Pale reveals completely unprompted that he's targeted two people to die.  That in itself is innocent to me, because it sounds like he's realized he's made a mistake.  At the same time, he hasn't yet revealed his second target, which could screw us over.  He could be a serial killer and trying to hide in plain sight, but why put the spotlight on yourself?

 

A reread is in order for me, I think.

I've not heard back from Dae, so here's what I'm gonna do:

 

There will not be a time limit on the day for now, and I won't modkill Dae during day 3 at all. That should take the pressure off and let the game progress as naturally as it can.

 

Last I spoke to Dae, he knew he would be away for a little while, and he wouldn't just bail for no reason, so I need to find out what's up.

 

By Monday evening, I will re-evaluate the situation.
