Well, I'm beginning to see it like this:

Kivam has put himself into a position where if he is lynched or NK'd, mafia and town alike are screwed with a rabid SK.

Pandy has put himself into a position where if people examine him at night, the town are either screwed or not.

Alys has put us into a position where we are blindly following her almost-explanation for a role that she can't actually tell us about, but allows us to guess.

Reyoru was either telling the truth, in which case we are still sort of screwed by the above situations regarding Pandy and Kivam, or we are lucky as hell and he was lying and is evil.

Light, part of me wonders if Kivam, Pandy, and Alys aren't mafia and leading the rest of us on a merry little chase of make believe.  :-\

And after 65 pages, the group finally decides on a lynch...

But, it was worth the wait.

REY, MAFIA, HAS BEEN LYNCHED.

It is now Night 1. Please turn in your night actions as quickly as possible.

No, she's right, during the day. We need to see what happens during the night before we can go much further. Sure can't lynch anyone during the night.

Now Kivam's backing of him looks scummy.

Well your instantaneous belief in his role claim, and the backing him with your numbers and trying to overly validate him as more than just a stab in the dark finder, seems scummy to me.

Can you point out where he said he believed it? Explaining how he thinks the numbers work is not the same as believing what Rey said was true.

Again . . . uh, what?  I said the claimed role was of limited use, but not useless.  I actually did tend to believe him - it was a ridiculous play for scum to make.  But I certainly didn't "back him" with my numbers or "try to overly validate him"

Honestly, Pete, this is either the worlds clumsiest frame attempt or you badly need to reread the thread.

Well Kivam I may have interpreted it wrong, but from what I saw anytime people wanted to lynch Rey you said we should keep him around and anyone he actually vies as being scum equates to being 66% accurate versus 50% accurate. I may be connecting too many dots but that is how I see it.

I know I'm one of the few that actually understands Dragon's logic, but they make a lot more sense to me than Kivam's explanations did. *shrug*

Barm, why are you sticking up for Kiv, exactly?

Because I agree with him about how clumsy DS's comments are.

Clumsy is usually in referendum to the wording of a statement so I am going to word this a little better.

I think Kivam is scum.

I think Barm is scum.

I think Nae is scum.

I think Lavinya is scum.

I have said the same thing and nothing has appeared to change my mind.

Pete,

Clumsy is in reference to the fact that you're trying to cast suspicion based on obviously baseless reasoning.

Here, let's make this clearer - go back and find a post where I defended Rey

I've always wondered why people say this.  If nobody can understand what he's saying, then it's not logic....it's just smoke & mirrors.  Logic is easy to follow.  Smoke & mirrors is not.

I'm leaning towards this being a frame attempt.....if they're not teammates already, lol.

BTW, Pete:

So' date=' in essence, you are saing Rey will have a lot of control over who we lynch.  He can simply view the people he wants lynched. (sound like a fun role for a mafia to hide behind?) Who want's to line up first to be 50 shot viewed by Rey and therefore set up for a lynch on your head?  Anybody?[/quote']

Nope.  His viewing someone only matters if they are one of two (or more) otherwise suspicious players.  And obviously, our cop (I'm certain we have a true, 100% finder in this game) should view Rey at some point to make sure he isn't scum.

I called on the cop to view Rey.  Note that DPR told us we would be getting role information on death - and we weren't told that Rey was a godfather.  So, you're suggesting that as Rey's teammate, I called for the cop to investigate him, knowing that would cause him to flip guilty?  And that's what you call "me defending Rey"?

Clumsy, Pete.  Just plain clumsy.
