Just so you know, you are not required to call shots, but should you choose to do so - which is highly encouraged - there is no limit to the number of moves you can call.

I don't UNDERSTAND the calling your shots thing.  How am I to know what shot I'd call in a game I don't even know my role to yet?  Nor what is going to happn in the game to set up a shot.  That is why I have not signed up.  I DON'T GET IT.  *glares at Barm*

Okay - "call your shot" is a pool (billiards) term. It means that you call which balls you are going to hit and what pockets they are going to go into. It's the opposite of hitting the que ball as hard as you can just to see what will happen.

 

In mafia, we talk about strategy. You might plan to pull off a gambit, or you may plan a false a reveal. As mafia you may decide which order the innocent players need to be NK'd in, or as an innocent, you might figure out who the mafia are on the first day. The problem is, no matter how brilliant you are, no one else knows it.

 

So this game will be all about you documenting all of the moves you make and why. You will send in your intentions, plans and thoughts all throughout the game. Then we will see who is right, and who is dead. heh

 

I'll post all of the PM's after the game so that everyone can revel in their brilliance or laugh your asses off at the thwarted moves.

 

It gives experienced players (like Nae) a chance to shine and it will be a great, great way to learn for the newer players.

 

Does all of this make sense? Does everyone know what I'm talking about?

 

I'll post the setup and roles next Monday so that you can start imagining what you would do with them, or what other would do with them. Then, on the 25th, I'll send out personal roles and we'll begin.

wes i would sign up, but i don't feel i'm experienced for this.  never really made anymoves i would consider brilliant move in mafia except for the tweaking of a few characters abilities as a mod.

 

 

that and i'm already signed up for 4 games comming up, 5 if you count the one thats started; and i'll be modded my 2nd and 3rd games with in the next couple of months.
