I am not Humperdink - and at the risk of sounding OMGUSish, you ought to know that. My rather unique PR pretty much tells you who I am, and the fact that no one else is playing it backs my claim up.

 

Perhaps I am just thick (I must be) 'cause I don't recall any actual PRs in the game and none of the role PMs mention a PR.  I thought Mynd was faking it all along?

 

Sadly, we spent 30 pages or so discussing Kivam's ability to assign PR's in that game. Should be during day 2 in all of the arguing with Mynd.

 

And, losing the healer is bad, but that's what happens when people don't show up to defend themselves. Stay tuned in folks and reveal roles before you get lynched! There's no reason to to feel bad - we didn't know and had nothing to go on - but it could have been avoided. 

 

This is my first time playing...I didn't know that revealing my role was a good idea. I assumed that people would assume I was lying and lynch me for that, or that the mafia would kill me in the night to get rid of me. Also...I was at work.

My point being that Min said that her night action was answered early - which doesn't happen. As far as assigning PR's to people, that usually does happen at night. The debate was because Mynd kept the PR past when he had to and confused everybody so that they would lynch him.

 

But the PR issue has nothing to do with Min's fake claim that she investigated Wombat and he's innocent. And, magically, she'll still be alive in the morning - even though she has announced that she is a finder and the Mafia could change their nightkill to take her out.

 

Plus, who reveals that they are a finder just to announce that someone is innocent. Bad, bad, bad...

Well I'm not very experienced so I don't know if a mod would send an answer to Min's pm or not but I am innocent.  Also, I've been reading the game on Myndjack (up to about page 40 atm) and I find it kinda lol that both times the minister and miracle max went in the first two nights.  Hopefully innocents win this one too xD

Okay, I sent in my PM asking to check the post I picked and got an answer. I posted early because hey the mafia could night kill me. If I waited till it was day I couldn't pass on my information. I am not the finder. I never claimed to be the finder. I am allowed to pick one post and ask if the person was telling the truth. I picked the one where Meesh asked me to view her and said "I am not Mafia". I got my answer that she was telling the truth. I am the perfect target for the mafia as they know I have a role and oh gee we just killed our healer. So, I am probably their target. Sorry if me jumping the gun made you all twitchy DPR. Maybe it is you who are mafia.

I too found it weird actually. And even if you did get your pm already, you're not supposed to say anything. Cause you know, its night, and we're supposed to "sleep", and because other nightactions might affect your viewing. Say if there was a recruiter in the game, who recruited Wombat now, just because he's a "confirmed" innocent now. I guess it was just a newbie mistake, but yeah, not supposed to get anything before morning. I think thats what made Wes "twitchy", its not supposed to be done.

Min did clear up that she is not claiming finder - she is a questioner - I don't know what the role may be called.

 

But also keep in mind that only a really bad finder would jump out and expose themselves with a counterclaim on Day 2.  Roled players do not need to fall for any mafia smoke-out ploys, especially when there is no reason for a reveal.

If you all feel that I can be mafia I wouldn't hold it against you for lynching me. I will say that the early post did look scummy now that it was explained to me. I will say I am innocent, but those that have played with me before know I lie. So, do what you feel you must. Like I said maybe the mafia will get me so you all don't have to feel bad about lynching another innocent.
