haha! That would do it, wombat. I'd forgotten that peace voted for me, and was too lazy to scroll back and see who had. Well not too lazy. Scrolling kind of hurts, which is why I was so gung ho about voting for dragon to begin with. ;)

Also, semilurking = tendonitis. (hence the painful scrolling)

What's OMGUS? (new player)

Ha, and now you're defending your non-defensiveness.

Keep digging. ;)

OMGUS (pretty sure they talked about it in the Mafia Revolution game, but maybe not).

OMG yoU Suck.  It's basically a retaliatory vote (you voted for me, so I'm gonna vote for you).

Meesh explained OMGUS to Ed earlier in the thread.

Wes, why so eager to be viewed the other day?  Are you Humperdink?  Last time he came up innocent the first time even though he was mafia. Perhaps a statement of innocence is in order.

I'll get started.

I, Jeran, am an innocent.

Crusher is an innocent.  Im going to [glow=red,2,300]unvote[/glow]

I will read at lunch in between mouthfuls of excellent lunch.  Then vote for someone.  We must find a lynch or at least all be voted for someone so Nae doesn't kill one of us.

Excuse me Little sis.. Excuse me, If we are all at leaste locked on a vote will someone still die?  Cause you said you would slaughter a non voter.

That's a good question Crusher.

Wes, I'm here, just been busy, so my out-of-alignment is simply not posting much.  I'll rectify that starting....now.

Oh, and I currently don't have a FOS to put on anybody, so I'm going to place a vote on somebody that doesn't currently have one to avoid the random kill, pending the answer to Crusher's question.

Peacesells is innocent.

I always wondered if this type of statement would work coming from someone else in these scenarios.

The following players are not innocent:  DPR, Verbal, Jeran.

Now if the person with the ability to verify this gets back a 33% truth we know 1 of the three are guilty.  66% then 2 of the 3.  100%...woohoo.

I like to get it out of the way so I don't get lynched. I went through a phase where I kept getting killed on Day/Night 1 and came up with ways to try and avoid that - offering to be viewed being one of them. And the offer is open - any night (or day) will do.

I am not Humperdink - and at the risk of sounding OMGUSish, you ought to know that. My rather unique PR pretty much tells you who I am, and the fact that no one else is playing it backs my claim up. I also made a point to announce it and start posting with it right away - long before all of the players had posted - which I wouldn't have done if I thought that another player would pop up with that role.

I'll be back with a hilarious picture...

[glow=red,2,300]Seafolk[/glow]

I don't get a big ping here, but this is the closest thing to a bandwagon we have, and Seafolk does make my short list of potential mafioso's for a different reason, which I will discuss later if I see any benefit in doing so.

For now, bandwagoning is our only option. Keep in mind that the only way for the innocents to win is to gather information, and the lynch is our best tool for doing that. Even if Seafolk is innocent, it gives us something, which is far preferrable to nothing.

That's entirely up to the mod. I'm just saying that even in a NO LYNCH situation, we don't gain any info, and that's just like handing the mafia a free kill.

Posted

True.  The choices are lynch someone and hope their scum and end up killing and innocent but getting info.  Kill no one, lose someone at night and know nothing more than you do now.

Those are the two choices.

I believe Nae mentioned it earlier that their was a similar game on the other site.

Could someone throw a chubby brother a link so I can take a look at it.  I think this was suggested earlier.  I've seen the movie but not super familiar with the roles.

And, chances are that Seafolk is innocent (statistically, anyway) so the loss is not in losing an innocent, but in losing time. The way innocents win is to try and figure out as much as possible while we still have a lot of players - that way, sacrifices can be made when we need them.

This means that we have to get posting. The best way to highlight lurkers is for everyone else to post. The worst thing we can do is to play apathetically.

In the off chance that everyone has a vote somewhere.. which I don't see happening... then it will be a roll of the dice on someone who has a vote on them.
