I think it is one of the way Pete plays. He is a bit unconventional you must admit. I do agree with Talya, but we need to work on a lynch and not be a disorganized ramble as Rey pointed out. If the finder or healer die then yes we will resurrect them first. However, we can later if we have no good ideas resurrect Peace. Say we lynch a mafia on day 2 then we can bring back Peace.

Either way, I had a question about the game, and I am pretty sure I have derived a little more information, just from the set up.

 

No mod would have a game where the players that are killed can be resurrected without some twist. And the mafia could never derive an advantage so from that I believe there will be multiple night kills, (And before anyone asks, no that was not the answer to my question.)

 

Pete, I hate to start picking on you on Day One. You know I do, but I can't ignore this. You say you believe there will be multiple night kills. That could be scum-speak for "I'm covering myself for when you see multiple night kills. See? I predicted it before it happened." I don't want to start pointing my finger your way, but you've got to defend that one so I don't have to.

Well you can all lynch me, find me innocent and then resurrect me.  But wait, what if I don't return as an innocent, what if my alignments change? By lynching an innocent, there are  a lot of questions and repercussions in this game if we act without thinking. *And what if there are no multiple kills Lily, maybe I may hold mine back for suspense.* I was being sarcastic. I am trying to have a little fun, and I know something that could implicate the mafia if they say something that is incongruous to the information I found. But if I were to reveal said information then the mafia wouldn't slip.

 

I have a good reason for boasting, and I promise to reveal it later in the game, or afterwards if I am night killed or lynched.

Also Lily, I am just stating logic hear, it wouldn't make sense for the innocents to be so easily resurrected, there has to be a balance if not the innocents can run through and lynch everyone and revive the innocents that have been lynched, it is really unbalanced if that is the scenario. Wouldn't it be ironic Lily if you had the kill you are trying to set me up as having?

Okay. I'm satisfied with the way you defended it - for now. You are a slippery one, but I think I know you well enough not to let you get away with a stunt like you did when I was a complete newbie. And, yes, it would be ironic, but we've been there, done that. Lightning rarely strikes twice in a row, you know. ;)

We do need to lunch someone, I just don't think that picking on one person so that you can resurrect them later, is not a good idea. It gives a good excuse for people not to think and just bandwagon, plus it gives a place for mafia just to follow the crowd. So lynching Peace is not going to get us much info, because he has offered himself up for a lynch and people will just jump on his idea.

 

We still need to be looking for Mafia!

 

I agree, I don't think this is going to be as simple as resurrecting someone back to normal! It might be they lose a role ability or it changes, they change alignment etc...

I agree with Talya, lynching Peace wouldn't really tell us much, because he offered himself, so if everyone went with it, it would be hard to pinpoint anyone as mafia. I'm not really suspicious of Dragon at this point either; I agree what he said about the pm was a little strange, but it doesn't scream mafia to me. I think that's just Pete. (Okay, that came out badly...I'm not saying you're strange, Pete ;D).

I see your point about Peace. We do need to be looking for mafia. Talya you usually fly under my radar when you are mafia. However, I haven't seen anything in any of your posts to be scummy. Oh, and I don't give a darn that you voted for me.

 

I will tell you all again I am a powerless innocent. So, if you are worried that Peace might have some special power we won't loose it. If you choose to not bring me back I will understand and no hurt feelings. I agree that something might change with the innocents when they are resurrected. Cause if not we could just go down the list and lynch each other and then resurrect us the day after we get a confirmation that they were innocent. However, we have to consider that the mafia will have a full 2 nights of action before a resurrection can happen. We won't get the confirmation of how the person is aligned until morning comes. So, the first night we are not resurrecting anyone. I can see where the mafia will have the advantage that way.

 

So, any other thoughts?
