Just an aside... I didn't attack you.  I said fair enough and then said that I was also wary of you.  Not quite what I'd call an attack hun.  Plus IF I was gonna attack you I'd throw in a vote for good measure.

Forgive me for not trusting how much people are "telling the truth" in this game until I know for sure.

I guess we're both suffering from the same problem. Not knowing who to trust. This game has been pretty intense for me so far, with the Pandy thing and all. And then Pete being Pete right afterwards. So, I'm trying to step back now and just look at things.

Yeah. I guess you're right. That wasn't an attack. Sorry I used too strong a word.

Verbal, Jeran and Rey didn't vote for Panda. So I am assuming that one is probably scum.

Out of those I pick [glow=red,2,300]Jeran[/glow]

Not a bad idea, and even better because I'm not the one you voted for, lol.  But really, I might join you in that thought process....I just want to see everybody check back in first.

The last (and only) time I decided to cast my votes based solely on other people's voting patterns it was nearly a disaster.  I led or strongly contributed to a charge on at least three innocents in a row who were voted out and the game came down to one person's vote to let the town win.  (Double Blind game on Myndjack)

Hehehe.....that was me as the mafia in that game.  So close to a solo victory....thanks for the assist.  ;) ;D

To be honest, I think we should look at what Pandy might have been saying in his posts. He was scum after all. If he said Dragon looked like a townie... just a random name, or someone he wanted to protect? I dont wanna start a long speculating post right now, cause I dont have time, and pointing it out also might come back and bite me, but like Red, I think it was worth noting. Unless he was kidding  :P

Also, I agree with Jeran about voting patterns. Bandwagons are excellent places for hiding  :P

Posted

well pandy's votes were Lily, Red, lily;

so i guess that this was either a "Gambit" as dragon suggested or pandy just found lily to be a threat.

for now, i'm gonna vote [glow=red,2,300]Smash[/glow] cause he's being quiet  ;)

Deadline: Tuesday, December 8th at 7:30am CST.

Vote

Jeran(1) - dragon

Smash(1) - red

no vote: Crush, Lily, Smash, Nae, Talya, Jeran, Verb, Rey, Danya

Day/Night 1 vote count

Day-pandy Assassin/Mafia

Night- no nightkill

Day/Night 2

so you agree from experience that voting based only on others' voting patterns can be beneficial to the mafia, but you think that following Pete in doing just that is a good idea?

you know, i think since there are only 3 mafia in this game, well 4 if you count the symp.  then a gambit wouldn't be a good idea for them, because it would further weaken the numbers.  with the odds so stacked against the mafia to begin with, i would think that they would want to keep the light off of them as much as possible.

I sorta agree with Dragon that the three that did not vote for Pandy may be a good point to start.  No way the entire scum team was able to get on his bandwagon.  Talya and Nae's votes concern me due to their place on Pandy's train.

Though I do have to say that Smash is really not sitting with me well this game.  He hasn't been around much, this makes sense because he isn;t on this site that much but He really hasn;t contributed to this game.  Im not meta gaming but truth be told, he is usually very active as Town.  He usually scum hunts with a vengeance.  Albeit later in the game, but why not start now.  Also his L3 vote was made while lurking and thats really all he's done in this game so far.

I will place my vote on him and wait for him to come back and yell at me.  Its what we do.  [glow=red,2,300]vote smash[/glow]

I know my vote looks scummy on Pandy, but there's nothing I can do about that... *shrugs*

I can't remember who else was on the lynch, but I'm going to have to vote tonight as I won't be around for the last 12 hours of the lynch. I can't get on here at work anymore!

i'm torn between whether i like the fast pace or dislike it.

like - moves the game at a nice pace and keeps the spam down (oh which i'm known to be bad with *blush*)

dislike - makes for rash decisions on lynching.

After having a peek at the voting I think that [glow=red,2,300]Smash[/glow] looks to be in a lurking position on that board. It was him or Nae, but Nae is around. I didn't even remember that smash was in the game until someone mentioned him, which is so unlike him in the other games I have played with him! And it's not the weekend!

Where in my post do you see me agreeing with your statement in bold?  Hmm?  You just put those words in my mouth.  Interesting.  Methinks I would do that to somebody if I was mafia.  In fact, I have done it to people when I've been mafia.  It's a nice little move.

Well, Naeann's one statement is the only thing that's pinged mine, and it was slight. I don't like inactive players, so I'll go with the flow on [glow=red,2,300]Smash[/glow] this time.

Im going to Vote [glow=red,2,300]Talya[/glow]

Those of you pointing out that I have been quiet are correct. I wanted to be the "quiet guy" for once, since Im such a big mouth most of the time.

When Scum is lynched scummates usually pile on at the end because death is inevitable so why not look like a voter aganist scum then to not vote at all. Nae and Talya did this as the 6th and 7th votes Im looking at them and Im voting Talya because her current explainations for voting are pretty weak compared to what Ive seen from her in the past.

BTW folks Im not inactive Im always active when I play Ive been reading along with all of you .  ;D

I feel like we're moving in too many different directions right now.  With a deadline approaching, we need to consolidate into a single lynch target.  I'm not really seeing either Talya or Smash right now, so I'm staying where I am, but what about the non-voters?  Now's the time to join in!
